CAT, DCVG & Bell Hole Survey
To carry out the CAT (Current Attenuation Test) Survey to assess the condition of the pipeline coating at 50 meter interval using Radio Detection Equipments and Measuring current loss Method along the pipeline and complete the entire work in all respect including locating the exact location of the underground pipeline and supply of equipments, consumables manpower, transportation including all taxes etc. as per specification. During CAT Survey, the pipeline depth profile is also to be recorded and furnished.
To carry out DCVG(Direct Current Voltage Gradient) Survey on High Signal Loss section as identified by CAT(Current Attenuation Test) Survey to pin point the exact location of Coating defect,complete in all respect which includes supply of equipments, consumables, manpower, transportation including all taxes etc. as per specification. All the Coating defect locations as identified by DCVG Survey are to be indicated by Drawing so that the locations can be identified in future to carry out coating repair
To carry out Bell Hole Examination by manually excavating & exposing the underground pipeline and inspecting the coating visually to verify the CAT & DCVG survey. The Bell Hole locations have to be examined will be as per instruction of the Engineer In Charge. Bell hole examination shall be carried out in minimum 1(one) location and maximum of 2 (two) locations at every 10 KM of CAT Survey
