Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with Tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification clause for Grading-1 (one) material complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by manual means of 63 mm (sixty three millimetre ) to 45 mm (forty five millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fillup the interstics of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading-2 (two) as per technical specification clause 405 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by manual means of 53 mm (fifty three millimetre ) to 22.4 mm (twenty two point four millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fillup the interstics of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading-3 (three) as per technical specification clause 405 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges.

Providing and applying primer coat low porosity with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road srurface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.850 (zero point eight five zero) kilogram per square metre using mechnical means as per technical specification cluase 502 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentials charges.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 (at the rate of zero point two seven five) kilogramme per square metre) on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including haulage of material in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation.

Providing, laying and rolling by mechnical means bitumen (VG-10) of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimetre) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen at the rate of 1.46 (one point four six ) kilograme per square metre to required line, grade and level to surve as wearing couase on a previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type-B as per technical sepcification Clause 508 including all corrective measures such as patching pot holes, sealing of cracks including all profile correction for all depths and hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation.

Providing and laying seal coat Type-C by mechanical means sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the sepcified levels, grade and crossfall using Bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 0.68 (zero point six eight) kilograme per square metre as per technical specificaiton Clause 510 including hauling of material with in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation.

Providing and fixing in position 20 mm (twenty millimetre) thick premoulded joint filler in expansion joint for fixed ends of simply supported spans not exceeding 10 (ten) metre to cater for a horizontal movement upto 20 mm (twenty millimetre), covered with sealant complete as per drawing and technical specifications including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6 (six) per cent bitumen by weight including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of unlined surface drains by mechanical means of average cross-sectional area 0.40 sqm in ordinary rock to specified lines, grades, levels, and dimensions as per approved design and technical specification clause 307. Excavated material to be used in embankment at site including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals..

Routine maintenance after completion of construction work including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various locations of site through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
