M&L for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes, air pressure for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adjusted @ the rate of 51.30/KG for the less quantity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc, rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and applying 2mm thick road marking paint (retro-reflective with glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm) of approved shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

S&F in repair road safety convex mirror made up of polycarbonate reflective with hood for road turning, intersection, curves, ‘T’ junction, etc, unbreakable & strong, mounted on and body made of ABS / Fiber / Plastic of size 100 cm dia fixed over & including 80 mm bore MS pipe of 2.1 Metre length duly powder coated, fixed with adjustable clamp, pole fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450x450x450mm deep including necessary, excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge Make : Tata / 3M / Dark Eye Notes : (i) A mild steel base plate of size 250mm x 250mm x 3mm shall be welded at bottom of pole. (ii) All steel & iron surfaces other than powder coated shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer.

S&F in replacement Speed bumps of size 500mmx375mmx50mm made of sturdy plastic (ABS) high resistance to severe impact and harsh weather conditions with dovetail interlocking type sub units made to bind perfectly into one firm bump having pre-coloured material (black/yellow) and UV stabilizers to keep them prepetually colourful studded with acrylic reflectors on either side fixed on road surface with & including nails / screws / bolts / polymer / epoxy adhesive etc all as per manufacturer’s instructions including filling up hollow portion of bumps with & including PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken speed bumps of any type. (length will be measured perpendicular to road) Make:- 3M / TATA / ‘DARK EYE.

S&F in repair two way reflective road studs (Cat eye) of dimensions 100mmx 100mmx25mm of impact resistance ABS body with red / yellow / white with reflective panels and fixing the same on road by applying approximately 50 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cate eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 10 mm dia and 75 mm long zinc plate steel nail at centre of cat eye, etc complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken cat eye of any type. Make:- 3M / TATA / ‘DARK EYE.

Demolition of cement concrete any description and in any position any thickness below or above ground level, including removal of debris to outside MOD land, Complete.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth not exc 50 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC( 1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in Sub base and like etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Plain Cement concrete design mix M-20, using grade 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in pavement /hard standing, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less by directed Engineer-in-charge including necessary use & waste of form work and brooming the top surface, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and as directed.
