Construction of BT Road

Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary eartheb bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & Labour for spreading and consolidating stone metal of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction ) in layer including screening of aggregates as necessary , hand packing after soreading in uniform thickness rolling with power roller (8 to 10 tones capasity ) in stage to proper line grade& camber , spreading sweeping requisite type and quantity of screening meterials to fill up the interesticesnof course aggregate applying binding materials as directed watering etc. and lighting , guarding and barricating and making necessary earthen bundh of one meter widh on each side whwre necessary to project edges and preparing the bed boy the necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all meterials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and as per specification and direction of Engineer - in - charge. iii) Grading -II Aggrigate (53 to 22.4 mm Size) using stone screening Type -B(11.2 mm size)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Clause 504 of specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). B. For Grading -2 (19 mm Nominal Size, 50-75 mm thick.) (i) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH

Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

20 mm thick Open-graded Premix carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/ modified bitumen) Binder (Waste Plastic) Providing & laying 20 mm Thk open graded Premixed carpet using 13.2 mm @ 0.18 cum / sqm and 11.2mm @ 0.09 cum / sqm size stone agreegates , including thorough cleaning of the surface , applying tack coat , screening , cleaning and preheating stone chips and fully pre coating the same with matrix @ 54 kg / cum of agreegates laying the Premixed chips uniformly over the surface , hand packing thoruogh loading by power roller , including the cost & carriage of stone chips & matrix , heating the Matrix and all other cost & carriage of stone chips in this connection including hire charges and cost of fuel & lubricants of machineries & equipments for construction & quality control as per IRC specification complete including cost of applying Tack Coat using Bitumen Emulsion @3.0Kg./10 sq.m. in tack coat a) using Mobile HMP ( light duty) Specification as per MORTH

Seal Coat (Type B)(Waste Plastic) Laying premixed Seal coat ( Ty-B) with approved quality grit/sand @0.6m3/100m2 & hot bitumen ,including heating and mixing cleaned grit ( 100 % passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180 micron sieve ) uniformly with hot binder @113.5kg per m3 of grit in suitable pan/mobile Hot Mix plant (Light duty), laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brusing the surface, if necessary, to ensure uniformity, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates, cost of heating the binder and aggregates and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for constraction and quality control complete over freshly laid premixed carpet (b) Using Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light duty). Specification as per MORTH

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1.50 m.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(b) Where staging is not required

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in gound floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety

80 mm thick interlocking designer concrete paver block M-40 grade for medium-traffic zone & utility cuts on arterial roads etc. as per IS: 15658-2006 (over 20-40 mm medium sand bed on 250mm thk WBM/ WMM base course & 250 mm thk bound gnaular/ granular sub-base course & filling the interstices of blocks with fine sand by brooming & subsequent watering including cost of sand for sand bed but excluding cost of base, sub-base course & subgrade preparation.) complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Close bamboo piling made of 65 mm to 75mm dia bamboos (in single line) driven about half length into the ground side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 1 metre 3 nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. complete as per direction (Measurements shall be taken along the length of piling after finishing the works) With bamboos of length above 2.00 m, and upto 2.50 m. each

Eucalyptus ballah pilling 10 cm dia and 3.00m long driven 1.67m(av) bellow G.L.and 375 mm centre to centre and 10cm dia ,3.00 long driven 1.67, placed at the centre to two 10 cm ballah and including fitting,fixing 3 nos of Eucalyptus ballah pices (from 10 cm dia Eucallyptus ballah) and necessary bracing (with 10cm ballah) @2.00m centre to centre and providing 3.00m long eucalyptus ballah ties to 10cm dia @2.5m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia eucalyptus ballah posts driven 2.25 m bellow G.L. including cost of materials and two cost tarring to all Eucallyptus ballah etc. complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Eucalyptus ballah pilling 10 cm dia and 5.00m long driven 3.33m(av) bellow G.L.and 375 mm centre to centre and 10cm dia ,5.00 long driven 3.33 m, placed at the centre to two 10 cm ballah and including fitting,fixing 3 nos of Eucalyptus ballah pices (from 10 cm dia Eucallyptus ballah) and necessary bracing (with 10cm ballah) @2.00m centre to centre and providing 3.00m long eucalyptus ballah ties to 10cm dia @2.5m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia eucalyptus ballah posts driven 2.25 m bellow G.L. including cost of materials and two cost tarring to all Eucallyptus ballah etc. complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works).

Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision) as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
