M&L for carrying out comprehensive maintenance including normal repair and preventive maintenance of 12.5 Ton capacity EOT crane, floor operated, complete including decarbonising of all the electrical panels and controls system with CTC, replacement of worn-out lugs, nuts, bolts and washers along with inspecting, greasing and lubricating all the mechanical movable and fixed parts of the mechanical system including replacement of unserviceable rubber/ metal motor/ load shaft couplers with new nuts and bolts, corroded/ unserviceable wire rope fasteners (dog clamps etc.) and carrying out all the mechanical and electrical safety inter locks and rectifying the defects if any complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: (i) The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include cost of grease, lubricant oil, consumable cotton waste, thimbles, small pieces of cable lugs, nuts, bolts, washers, emery papers etc. and other sundry items. (ii) Spares required other than those specified herein before shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only'

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of VVVF drive suitable for heavy duty cranes with required resistance, power and control cables, cable lugs for fixing of drive/ conventional panels suitable for CT and LT work on Main Hoist Operation on 3 Ph, 415 V AC, from 11kw (ND) - 7.5kw (HD) including programming all parameters as required by the ground/ existing conditions complete by removing the old defective drive all as specified and directed. Removing of unserviceable brake coil of thruster brakes in LT/CT motion, Main/Auxiliary Hoist including opening the burnt winding by cutting down and rewinding with existing size of super enameled copper conductor and applying insulating varnish, drying the coil only in original position up to size of 200mm and 8.5 kg complete of capacity 1 ton to 5 ton and testing as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

S&F in repairs SS enclosure suitable for housing 3 pole MCCB and connected cables complete all as specified and as directed. [Make: Cat No. ST98050OOOO of L&T or equivalent in GE/ Schneider]

S&F in repairs hoist wire rope suitable for EOT/ HOT crane up to 5 Ton capacity spiral stranded type / as specified by the OEM, load tested for up to 150% rated capacity complete all as specified and as directed. [Make: Usha Martin]

S&F control pendent (IP 65) enclosure consisting of push buttons with required NO and NC contacts for Main Hoist/ LT and CT motions in normal and creep modes complete along with all accessories and fixtures all as specified and directed including disconnecting and taking down existing unserviceable pendent. Taking down the unserviceable trailing cable and Supply and fix trailing cables of size 4 core 6 sq.mm (elastomeric rubber cables) Annealed tinned flexible Copper Conductor, EPR insulated, cores laid up with fillers (wherever necessary) and binder taped, PCP outer sheathed cable of 1100 volts conforming to IS: 9968 (Pt-1) 1988 & (P-2) laid on existing cable trays/ crane structures using MS clamps/ cleats, glands, copper lugs and connecting in panel/ equipment all as specified and as directed. Carrying out Load testing of EOT Crane of capacity 12.5 Ton installed in CT Bldg to prove the satisfactory operation of electrical controls, motors, gears boxes, protective devices, system interlocks, mechanical components like wire rope, weld sections of the crane in all motions (LT, CT, Hoist in high speed and creep speed) during full load and testing of crane in over load at 110% and deflection test all as per IS: 3177 of 1977 through M/s Lloyds Register of Shipping or any accredited agency as approved by AGE (I), duly certified including all consumables complete all as specified. [Notes: (i) Necessary pre calibrated certified loads with load cell digital/ analogue type required for carrying load test shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall be inclusive of the same. (ii) Contractor has to arrange necessary tarpaulin/ plywood to unload weights on the floor and ensure that the electrostatic floor/ floor surfaces is not scratched/ damaged during testing].
