REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE EARTHINGS OF BUILDINGS, PLANT AND MACHINERY AT VARIOUS BUILDINGS AT NAVAL DOCKYARD, VISAKHAPATNAM

Dismantling old / loose fitted / damaged / unserviceable lightning conductor made of aluminium strip including insulator from roof/wall of bldg complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling taking out all old / loose fitted / damaged / unserviceable air termination single pointed al rod of any size and shape from roof for refixing or taking on schedule of credit complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for relaying/refixing of aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm as a roof / down conductor obtain from item No 1 with proper alignment including saddle type epoxy insulator 40mm height by proper drilling, PVC roll plug, CP screws complete all as specified and as directed. [Note : Epoxy insulator shall be measured and paid separately as supply only].

M & L for new aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm as a roof / down conductor with proper alignment including saddle type epoxy insulator 40mm height by proper drilling, PVC roll plug, CP screws complete all as specified and as directed. [Note : Epoxy insulator shall be measured and paid separately as supply only].

Supply and fix GI sheet metal box 2 mm thick of size 150 x 150 x 75 mm fix to wall / column with suitable size of PVC roll plug screws complete including dismantling taking down unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm, drilled and screwed including, 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexognal, head screw inside GI sheet metal box with proper screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Epoxy insulator saddle type 40 mm height complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only serviceable air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with proper screws, nuts to aluminium strips obtained from item No.4 above complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing new pointed al rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with proper screws, nuts to aluminium strips complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with GI Pipe electrode, 40 mm bore, Medium grade, 2.5 mtr long burried directly and vertically in ground with top edge at ground level after making manual bore hole of size not less than 300 mm dia and 2.65 Mtr long near the specified bldg, connected with galvanised steel strip earthing lead of size 32mmx 6mm all as shown in Plate No-2, connected to the earthing test point, concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2with RCC precast pit cover slab 80mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS rod, wiremesh, charcoal and salt in alternate 150mm thick layers around CI earth pipe, including necessary returning filling in & removal all as specified or indicated in SSR Part-I, including testing to achieve earth resistance value as per IS specification on completion after dismantling taking out unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for renewal of existing earthing pit of serviceable earthing by making concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 with RCC precast pit cover slab 80mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS rod all as specified in Plate No-2 of SSR Part-I after dismantling of unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix GI strip 32 x6mm to wall /column with suitable size of PVC roll plug screws complete including dismantling taking down unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F light grade GI tubing with proper MS clamp, screws fixed to wall for pipe support including dismantling taking down unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for writing letter on wall/column after proper preparation of wall surface, one coat of cement primer and two coat of black synthetic enamel paint and writing letter with white synthetic enamel paint for display of the following parameters of lightning protection/earthing complete all as specified and as directed. M&L dismanling galvanised Galvanised wire mesh cable trays from building wall more than 3 mtr hieght form FL for repair/ replacement of damaged supporting clamps and refixing of trays to original position, securing properly to support strcture after replacement of steel clamps complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Hot dip Galvanised wire mesh cable trays 105 x 300 complete with tray, coupler, cover and cover clip to support clamps, securing properly to support strcture complete including dismanling from building wall more than 3 mtr hieght form FL complete all as specified and as directed. [Make-Legrand]

S & F of cable Rack / tray support made with structural steel section (FE-290, Gde E 165) pre-welded, on wall, placing in position and fixing to wall with fastener steel bolt not less than 16 mm dia, including painting with one coat of red oxide and two coat of black synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed. [Note:- Cable rack drawing shall be obtained from Engr-in-Charge].

M&L for dismantling taking down cables off sizes from cable trays for repair/replacement of damaged cable tray and support clamps and relaying to original position after repair of trays and clamps complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing PVC XLPE insulated, armoured havey duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade cross section area 10 Sqmm 2 core including dismantling taking down unserviceable one from wall, cable trey, trench complete all as specified and directed

S & F of LT heat shrink straight through cable joint suitable for cable size LT 1100 volts grade, 4 core, 6 to 16 sqmm all as specified and directed. [Make 3M, cat No MHS/Ox1.1KV(HSLA-1/4C) or equivalent of Denson/M Seal/MS Seal/RPG ].
