Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material with plaster from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 50 to 100 mm average thickness

Carriage of Building Rubbish with all lead and lift. The rates are inclusive of stacking, loading and unloading and transporatation etc.

Providing and applying Coat of Concrete Penetrating Corrosion Inhibitor of the approved makes Krishnaconchem/ Sika/ Fosroc or equivalent which works on Bipolar Inhibition Mechanisam on concrete surface to be applied by using brush or spray at dosage specified by the manufacturer. A second coat shall be applied if continuity is in doubt.

Rust Removal : Exposing and cleaning of existing Reinforcement in Columns, beams and slabs or any other RCC structural elements : - Cleaning of existing reinforcement carefully at all heights in columns , beams or slabs where cracks are observed. Applying of alkaline rust remover/converter primer of approved make Krishna conchem or equivalent on bars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove loose rust spalls, with time interval of 6 hour between the coats etc. complete. The rates are inclusive of all materials, labor, machinery, equipment, tools, tackles, cuplock type Scaffolding etc. and disposal of debris into designated RHC dumping yards, all complete. (Surface area after deducting concrete cover will be measured for payment.)

RUST PASSIVATION: Providing and applying Two component, low solvent, zinc rich epoxy resin based Anticorrosive Treatment of reinforcements in two coats with time interval of minimum 4 hours between each coat of the approved makes ( Fosroc/ Sika / STP or equivalent). The application shall be done by brush or spray as per Manufactureres recommendation, complete. The rates are inclusive of all materials, labor, machinery, equipment, tools, tackles etc., all complete. Average consumption of Zinch rich primer shall be 200 g per Sqm minimum. Surface area after deducting cover will be measured for payment. then treat the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive coating of approved Make over the steel rebarrs. The zinch rich primer shall be applied at 40 microns dry film thickness and shall have salt spray resistance of <5 mg for 96 hours as per ASTM B-117 and adhesive bond strength > 1.5 MPa as per ASTM D4541,etc,complete. (Surface area after deducting cover will be measured for payment.)

Providing and fixing chemical rebars shear connectors as per drawing and at all heights as per EIC. using epoxy grout made with Epoxy resin and Hardner. (Hilti or equivalent ) For Jacketing of R.C.C. members as per specifications. The rate including scaffolding/ working platform/safety nets etc. which are required. Item includes Supplying, Drilling/Cleaning hole and injecting chemical. Application to be designed separately for Rebars as Simply Supported, Moment or Splice Connection as per EC2/TR 023 or relevant tested and accepted rebar guidelines. The chemical should have ETA approval for seismic rebar as a minimum qualifying criterion. Drilling hole with double flute type drill bits or hollow drill bits to the required depth by rotary hammer drill, cleaning with brush and jet of clean air, filling resin and hardener using serrated nozzle to eliminate mixing error with standard HDE A22 battery dispenser along with piston plug. The installation and the setting instructions should be strictly followed as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. The adequate diameter and embedment of rebars to be decided as per PROFIS / Designfix Rebar Software & the report to be submitted to the project manager/ design engineer for approval. Scanning before drilling to be done to avoid hitting existing rebars. Installation of chemical rebars shear connectors by using a static mixer provided which mixes in 3:1 ratio of resin to hardener and dispensing with the dispenser provided from Manufacturer and insertion of rebar into drilled hole by rotating in clockwise direction.
