MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TO TRANSFORMERS AND CONNECTED HT WORKS AT KANNUR MIL STN UNDER AGE (I) CANNANORE

Material and labour for disconnecting all the electrical connections from HT and LT side of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto and including 100 KVA i.e. Jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformer including taking down, loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the workshop for repairing & back including reinstallation, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No 1.00 described here-in-before but capacity of transformer above 100KVA and upto 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for opening the transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nuts bolts then after removing the internal HT & LT connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, removing out burnt HV and LV windings from the core assembly, cleaning of core assembly with CTC including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio 11 / 0.433 KV, draining & decanting of burnt transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC for the transformers. Supply and rewinding of HV and LV coils with suitable size super enamelled copper wire/ strip (Equivalent to original winding) having suitable class insulation material, heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal HT & LT connections by supply and fixing the studs, bushing if required, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, all as directed for various capacities as under:- Note : (i) Unserviceable items required for repairs including supply only copper wire required for rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) Cost of Studs & bushes shall be deemed to included in the unit quoted rate. (iii) Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 45 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Upto 100KVA Transformer

Above 100KVA and upto and including 250KVA Transformer.

Supply only super enamelled copper winding wire/ strip equivalent to the original winding of any size for HT coils of transformers all as specified and as directed.

Supply only super enamelled copper winding wire/ strip equivalent to the original winding of any size for LT coils of transformers all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of LT bushings 433V of suitable size for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity upto 100KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of LT bushings 433V of suitable size for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity above 100KVA and upto 250KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of HT bushings 11KV of suitable size for type transformer of capacity upto 100KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of HT bushings 11KV of suitable size for type transformer of capacity upto 100KVA and upto 250KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of brass stud (for LT 433V side) of suitable size complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity upto 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of brass stud (for HT 11KV side) of suitable size complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/indoor type transformer of the capacity 100 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of brass stud (for HT 11KV side) of suitable size complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/indoor type transformer of the capacity 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for dehydration including filtration of transformer oil by dehydration and filtration plant including testing of sample before and after dehydration and filtration for transformer upto 250KVA capacity etc complete all as specified and directed. (The dielectric strength to be achieved 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap after completion of dehydration and filtration). Note: (i) Dehydration of transformer oil in the Transformer carried out on the site by dehydration machine and the amount quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this provision. (ii) All the Labour work like disconnect of cable and reassemble and drum etc, carried out by contractor by own arrangement.

Supply and filling of new transformer oil of BDV not less than 50 KV for Toping up/ filling of transformer oil in different transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material nad labour for preparation of old painted surfaces and cooling coils/ fins of transformers upto 250 KVA capacity by removing oil marks using chemical or hot blow lamp. Spray painting to prepared surfaces using synthetic enamel paint of superior quality of colour as approved by AGE(I) / AGE E/M as per standard engineering practice with two coats, including writing SM No, MES No, Make and capacity with white paint having height of each letter not less than 2.5 cm and width not less than 1cm all as required and directed.

Supply and filling up in replacement silica gel superior quality to transformer breather assy all as required and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of LT UG cable, pipe, pole, stay etc and not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in hard and dense soil including taking out and removal of old bricks laid over for protection of cable all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat unreinforced of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for protection of cable abutting each laid dry flat width equal to the length of cable cover etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spreading in natural riddled soil as earth cushioning to cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/roots etc and refilling in trenches and compacted in layers to form a solid bed covering to cable all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement GI tubing light grade 100 mm bore cut to the size and fixed along the pole for cable protection including clamp 02 Nos of size 25x4 mm, nut bolts, washers etc complete all as required at site or directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault in HT underground cable of any size and core, laid in soil at plane area or forest area with the help of HT Meggar. Segregation of faulty span by meggering and making span serviceable by repair of cable or replacement of cable. Note : (a) Detection of one fault in faulty span will be measured as Each Job. (b) Earth work and taking out will be measured and paid separately. (c) Material for repair and replacement will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, lay in trenches or fixed to wall / pole or passing through pipes or road crossing, testing and commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11KV grade, suitable for earthed system, with aluminium conductor of size 120 Sqmm 3 core including taking down unserviceable HT cable of any type / size/ description , etc complete all specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. from poles complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat of primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour in replacement of cable end termination out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts with jointing martial and accessories including testing etc complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour in replacement of cable end termination out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts with jointing martial and accessories including testing etc complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour in replacement of Cable joining kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with joining material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Denson/ M Seal / 3 M.

Material and labour in replacement of Cable joining kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with joining material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Denson/ M Seal / 3 M.

Supply and fix in replacement of Lightning arresters expulsion type (Set of Three) complete with all fittings, distribution class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp complete all as specified and as directed. Make- Rashtriya/ Jaipuria/BHEL.

Supply and fix in replacement of Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and including fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of Anti-climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Painting of HT concrete pole (4 Pole structure) of complete length, by applying one coat of white cement based paint after scraping/ brushing and cleaning the Algae on pole and cross arms and a coat of white synthetic enamel painting to pole upto 1.5 mtr from ground level shall be painted by alternate layer of black and Yellow enamel paint (30 cms apart) and Two coat of aluminium painting shall be done on Cross arm and bracing, nut, bolts and washers etc after preparation of surfaces all as specified and as directed. Note : One 4 pole structure measured as one job inclusive of HT poles and cross arms complete.

Material and labour for dismantling of old air break gang operated switches vertical mounted including insulators and operating mechanism etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour in replacement of switch Air break gang operated triple pole (horimounted on porcelain insulators 15 Nos 11 KV 400 Amps DO fuse set with AB switch porcelain and steel frame with operating mechanism with 20 mm dia GI pipe (Medium grade) worked from ground level complete all as specified and as directed. Make- Rashtriya/ Jaipuria/BHEL.

Material and labour in replacement of stay assembly complete with MS stay plate of size 300x300x6mm thick, stay rod 20 mm dia, stay bow, nuts, bolts and check nuts of GI all as shown in EP No 01 of SSR Part-I of 2009 complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Necessary Excavation, PCC, saty wire and loop type insulators will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for galvanized steel stay strand of size 7/4 mm including Bow and Clamps complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for loop type insulator large size with overall dimensions (90 x 140) mm with clearance of hole 25.5 mm vitreous white brown or green complete all as required at site or as directed. Make : Rashtriya , Jaipuria Brothers , BHEL.

Material and labour in replacement of off load tap changer suitable for existing for distribution transformer of any make ad capacity upto 250 KVA all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 19021Ditto, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with using GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness off 15 cm all around the plate with using galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earthing lead moulded and retrieved to earth plate at one end and connected to main switch / control board at another end with and including 40 mm dia GI light grade from upper end of earth plate upto external face of the wall of the building including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe light grade as water pipe from chamber to upper edge of the plate GI funnel with wire mess fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) duly reinforced with mild steel round bar 8 mm dia @ 150 mm c/c both ways with 10 mm dia mild steel bars as in lifting handle with and including necessary excavation and earth work including laying the pipe concealed in floor / wall all as per plate No.3 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed including testing on completion Note: If the desired resistance is not found earthing shall be done by the contractor at no extra cost to Govt.
