Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre deep for foundations etc. or for cesspits etc. and not exc. 10 Sq. m on plan and not exc. 1.50 metre in depth and getting out complete, all as specified.

Returning, filling in, of soft/ loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each complete, all as specified.

Cleaning of underground sewage lines upto 150 mm bore including manhole, any depth, taking off & refixing of manhole covers, getting out all foreign matter such as solid/ liquid/ mud etc. and removing the same outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 150 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate in all situations where cleaning is not possible otherwise including returning, filling and disposal of surplus soil etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Removing blockage from water closet (Indian or European type), urinals, WHBs, sinks, floor/ nahni trap, including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud deposited there and removing the same in a hygienic manner outside MoD land to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free up to first manhole, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Removing blockage from gully trap, including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud deposited there and removing the same in a hygienic manner outside MoD land to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free up to first manhole, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair to floor/ nahni trap, by removing grating and applying white cement inside the waste hole upto full depth to obtain smooth finish and refixing the grating complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning solid/liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines,up to and including 200mm bore, of any type,between consecutive manholes, by super sucktion machine,through connecting manholes, complete men, machine and water as required, including removal and refixing of manhole covers, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry in any position built in any cement mortar, complete all as specified.

M & L Brick masonry with sub class B bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in Cement Mortar (1:4) all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls & concrete surfaces & the like including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., any description, including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

M & L First quality, glazed ceramic coloured tiles, fixed in pattern of different colour tiles including border of dark shade tiles, 6-7 mm thick of size 200 mm x 300 mm, in skirting, dado with set and jointed in neat cement slurry, over and including 10 mm thick rendering of cement mortar (1:3), including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles, complete all as specified.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any position as in cover slab etc., including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified.

Reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates, as in precast manhole/ drain covers, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

M & L Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending etc., and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified.

M & L Mild steel plates/flats Fe-290 grade E-165 quality as in frames to edges for strengthing of manhole covers, cut or notched forming holes (ordinary or counter sunk) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 75 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates, laid in 1:20 slope as in plinth protection including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/ 25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified. Note: The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm complete all as specified.

M & L 75mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in floors/hard standing, etc, laid in approved size panels, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, joints filled with mastic mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Grating 125 mm dia (Minimum weight 40 gms) with or without waste hole of PTMT fixed on floor/ nahani trap with cement mortar, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

S & F Vitreous china squatting pan, ‘Orissa’ pattern, size 580 x 440 mm white, with integral foot rest, ISI marked including connecting and necessary lime concrete, fixed in repairs, including making good the surface to match with existing floor finish, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

S & F Cast iron traps ‘P’ or ‘S’ , 100 mm bore, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified.

NOTE : The contractor representative will report daily on working days at the MES complaint cell at Sector-47 Chandigarh to collect the sewage blockage complaints and petty repairs complaints from MES supervisory staff. Sewage blockage and minor complaints shall be rectified on same day and completion report after rectification will be submitted duly signed by the occupant upto 1700 hrs hours at the MES complaint cell. In case he fails to clear the sewage blockage within 08 hours a penalty of Rs 50/- day complaint shall be imposed on contractor and shall be recovered from his dues till the sewage blockage is cleared. The same penalty will be imposed in case the contractor or his representative fails to report in complaint cell in the morning in addition to the pending complaints of the day.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 20457.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No 112 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
