Tendered item is reserved to be procured from RDSO approved vendors as per list of approved vendors mentioned in letter No. MW/CS/WB/Vendor/App/Merit dtd.01.07.2021. Approval status shall be reckoned as on the date of tender closing and not thereafter, unless it is a case of removal/ suspension/ banning. Bidders who are approved by RDSO for the supply of the tendered item but not appearing in the list of approved vendors in the above mentioned letter, shall submit the valid RDSO approval letter for supply of in- motion electronic Rail Weighbridges to Zonal Railways, issued by competent authority, failing which offer of such bidder shall be considered irresponsive and shall not be considered for placement of contract order.
Procurement shall be done OEMs or authorized dealer/agents from (OEMs). Either OEM shall quote directly or OEM can authorize its dealer /agent to participate in this tender on its behalf. The authorized dealer/agent participating in the tender on the behalf of OEM shall submit tender specific authorization certificate issued by OEM, failing which their offer shall be summarily rejected.
EMD : Tenderers are required to deposit Earnest Money (EMD) equivalent to the amount mentioned in the tender document as per para 0501 of GCC WR 2024, on-line, only through payment gateway as available in IREPS. Offers submitted without EMD shall be summarily rejected.
