M& L, for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.5 mtr below grond level, earth plate placed on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150 mm connected by GI earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm thick soldered and revetted to earth plate. GI earth strip will be protected by using 40mm bore GI pipe (light grade ISI marked) from top edge of earth plate to main earth point to be connected and 20mm dia GI watering pipe medium grade ISI marked.with funnel with wire mesh etc. The earthing includes PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using stone agg pit, RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg and angle iron frame of 25 x 25 x 5mm, complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I

Dismantling old U/S MCCB any type and S& F for MCCB 3 pole ,415 volt, adjustable type 125Amp breaking capacity 16 KA complete all as specified and directed .

Excavation in trenches in soft/disintegrated soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying UG cable/foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soft/disintegrated soil including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soft/disintegrated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 100 mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 500 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed . NOTE : 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes , screwed and socket joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new socket and nut bolt, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

Taking out & removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motor of capacity 35 HP, Three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor wire including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding ,transportation to site complete all as specified and directed

Lowering down of the submersible pump set of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well alongwith column pipe 50mm dia and submersible cable of any size (approximately 500 feet depth of pump set from GL) including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering complete all as specified and directed NOTES :- 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lowering of pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Rates quoted by the contractor for the above item includes the cost of assembling & connecting pump set to column pipes & assembling, jointing and fixing column pipes with MS internally threaded flange welded with column pipe by using 04 Nos 20x3mm MS strips and thereafter jointed with rubber gasket joints and nuts, bolts / pump set at the end / submersible cable and making necessary connections and testing including reconnecting water supply system. The required materials like column pipe /flanges with rubber gasket joints/ submersible cable/ repaired pump sets etc shall be met out with old retrieved materials and additional quantity of column pipe, flanges with rubber gasket joints , submersible cable & straight through joint of cable shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule as “Supply only”, but the rate for its fixing shall be deemed to be included under this item.

Disconnecting and taking up or down old existing GI tubing and connections,including connected fittings/accessories and fixtures of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors/road / on walls etc and making good the disturbed surface c for the following sizes :- 15 mm bore omplete all as specified and directed

Disconnecting and removing old existing non functional electric motor, of following capacity of booster pump / centrifugal pump of any description and in any position, dismantling and strip opening of the motor, for carrying out repair/ servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, ie bearing,connecter, fan blade, nuts and bolts etc with and including removing the old existing burnt windings, cleaning the slots & rewinding of the following capacity motor, operating on 415 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz AC supply with existing gauge super enameled copper wire, including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves insulating varnish etc and any trasportation to workshop if required,and fixing the same in position and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed. (a) Motor of capacity 5 HP operating on 415 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz AC complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The windings of motor including windings wire and connected material is deemed to be included in above quoted rates.

S& F in repair valve pit chamber top cover of size 900x900 mm made with 2mm thick MS sheet with supporting MS angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6mm and painting with two coat of bitumen paint over a coat of red oxid primer and locking arrangment complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of Over head tank of capacity 0.5 Lakh Gln after emptying the sump with help of Pump, removing all mud, waste etc complete, scrubbing the entire sump inside with wire brush, washing the entire sump from inside with water and subsequently with bleaching powder solution and painting inside with two coats of lime wash including date of cleaning with white paint over black base complete all as specfied & directed by Engg-in-charge.

S&F for testing and connecting cast iron sluice valve heavy duty double flanged, 80 mm dia PN 1.6 confirming to IS 14846: 2000 ISI marked with Stainless steel spindle and two nos of MS flange of 16mm thick, 8 holes with nuts and bolts packing materials complete including cutting the existing watermain for fixing cast iron sluice valve and jointing welding complete required at site of water supply installations complete all as specified and directed. Disconnecting and taking down the existing unserviceable non return valves of cast iron and supply installing and testing of heavy duty cast iron non return valve PN 1.6 confirming IS 5312-1 (2004) ISI marked along with two Nos of heavy duty flange 16 mm thick, 8 hole sluitable for 80 mm dia with all fixing accessories such as suitable size nut and bolts of 16 Nos, packing material of leather buffalo including cutting the existing water main of 100 mm dia for fixing the non return valve, welding jointing complete as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve chamber (as per standard drwaing) of internal size 900x900x900mm with sub class 'B' bricks in cement mortar 1:6 with 2mm thick MS sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6mm angle with locking arrangement duly painted with two coat of bitumen paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work and excavating in soft loose soil returning filling in removal of surplus soil complete incl 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in base concrete and 50 mm thick coping PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) over brick wall top incl. two coats of snowcem rendering plastering work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation after complete removal of existing treatment from old plastered surface of wall with latest technology and wash with bleaching powder & applying two coats of acrylic emulsion paints (Apex Ultima/ waethercoat all guard ) over a coat of suitable primer in overhead tank, its pillar and E/M installation complete all as specified and directed.
