Design, construction, testing and commissioning of 1.25 MLD water purification treatment plant in shape of rapid sand filters including cost of site development to adjust hydraulic levels as per contour plan and structural requirement cost of construction of civil works, hoisting and errection of steel works, installation of mechanical equipment/machinery, laying of interconnecting G.I./ MSERW pipe and scouring arrangement from all units with disposal of the same to appropriate place i.e. near by Nallah/Khad/Natrual drainage, valve and all other contingent works near village Bhatti in G.P. Bhatti capable of taking input and giving output as laid down in chapter-V of CPHEEO manual underl all climatic conditions specified therein. The treat,ment plant includes construction of inlet chamber, raw water tank , pre-sedimentation tank, taperod Floculators, flash Mixing, secondary settling tank, Parshal flume, Rapid sand filter beds and pipe gallery, clear water tank , wash lime solution tank, Alum solution tank mand Dozer, inter connecting path, (1.20 metre wide)Chamical house chemicals handling and feeding arrangement, chlorination unit, backwash unit with pumping set and Air compressor including arrangement for disposal of waste from water treatment process, plant building compring office, P/F lightening arrangement(sodium vapour lamps 150 watt) made in the boundary unit in the plant area, P/F electoral mechanical equipment, proper wall way for inspection/operation of various units and boundary walls with fencing panel. Providing and setup of laboratory equipment etc. sizes shll be based on manual of water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban development, Govt of india new Delhi. The design of various units shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes. All the hydraulic structure shall be designed and constructed in RCC. The scope of work shall be as per common design parameters technical specification and special condition appended in the DNIT. This further includes combination of various treatment units based on flow diagram given in the above manual for consideration of alternative proposals or any other low cost treatment methods based on existing plants working under similar conditions with necessary performance certifications. The firm should quote its rates for its offered proposal with cogent reason/justification for adopting the particular method of treatment of water and design of relevant units which should be based oin recommendations of latest relevant codes/manuals onwater supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban Development, Govt of india, New Delhi.( Refer Data sheet No.1).
All structure shall be designed for up lift pressure and encounted at footing as per contour plan up loaded suitable protection structure shall be designed and provide to avoid direct entry of HFL water with treatment premises. The scope of work shall be as per common design parameters technical specification and special condition appended in the DNIT. This further includes combination of various treatment units based on flow diagram given in the above manual for consideration of alternative proposals or any other low cost treatment methods based on existing plants working under similar conditions with necessary performance certifications. Construction of RCC framed structure pump house in M-25 concrete grade(as per proper design and Drawing) complete with the accommdation for office room, attendent room, automation room, transformer room, Toilet chowkidar quarter, panel boards etc. 500mm dia C.I.man hole cover and frame(Medium duty), CGI sheet roofing, doors and windows chequered tile flooring,all type of internal and external electrical wiring, water supply and sanitary fitting and other allied items. The clear height of gantry girder shall be 4.20 mtrs above floor level and head room, above geentry shall not be less than 1.00 mtr. The thickness of prepainted sheet for roofing shall not be less than 0.60mm. The doors and shutters(other than main opening which is with rolling shutters)shall be of aluminium. The outer doors and window shall be in double shutters and aluminium grills for windows and internal wiring shall be in PVC conduit. The work shall, all work shall confirm to relevant IS code and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (Refer Data Sheet No.2).
Design and Construction of R.C.C. Circular under ground and over head storage tanks of following capaciy at different node/locations of the town including site development , cost of excavation in all kind of soil . cost of construction material , necessary arrangement of inlet,outlet,overflow & scour pipe alongwith sluice valves , chamber box & other fixtures & fitting. Excavation in foundation and trenches (For pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of earth work such as Pick work, Jumper work, chiselling or wedging out of soft and hard rock as blasting is prohibited, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting , planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material /soil seperataly and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes (for pipes, Pipe duct, chambers, x-sings etc.), returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Laying, jointing & testing of bevelled ended GI pipe ( Medium class )with circumfrential butt welded joints wherever required by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GI pipe of Jindal /Surya Roshni / Tata/AST make of following dia meters conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also include welding of flanged joints at every 100mtrs spacing duly welded in three layers (two inner one outer) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. and lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) . The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T of ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes ( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) and all other specials made from the parent tube shall be provided with anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing of pipes, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Refer Date Sheet No.4).

The laying of pipe shall also include welding of flanged joints after every 100 m spacing duly welded in three layers (two inner one outer) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. and lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best satisfaction of the Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nuts & bolts & gasket will be measured and paid for seperately) . The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and other specials ( if damaged during laying jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube , shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T of ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing , DP test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. Supply and errection of soft starter submersible pumping set of KSB / Kirloskar/Calama / Saber / Johnston/ OSWAL make (Submersible Pump set i/c soft strater HMI Automation) Percolation well confirming to BIS-8034-1976(Latest with upto date ammendments)fitted with bronze impeller/suitable alloy directly coupled to squirell case electric induction motor of same make as than of pump confirming to BIS-9283-1979(Latest with upto date ammendments)and totally water proof for submersible duty, isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal on oil chamber,grease packed lubricated bearings amd provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to stand vertical load with minimum wear and tear.It should also be fitted with a device to take up expension of water with the heating of motor i/c water level guard,errection clamps cable clips and depth gauge etc. The pump shall be suitable for operation on data gibven below: -(Refer Data Sheet No.5 for detail specifications).

2nd Stage:- Providing horizontal spindle casing/end suction(back pull out arrangement) single/ double/ multistages centrifugal pump or combination of pumps in series, parellel of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/Kirloskar/Crompton/Becon weir/BE/Jyoti (Centrifugal pump set i/c SCADA Automation)as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments read with 9137-1978 or latest addition suitable to lift clear water under mentioned characteristics with bronze impellers/priming funnels casing rings and shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade EN-8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common mild steel base plate (base plate to be from the manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to squirrel cage/slipering screen protected drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar / Crompton / BHEL/ NGEF / GEC / Siemens / Jyoti / ABB suitable for operation on 400(+/-) 10% volts, 50 cycles/second, 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor should be at least 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of (+)10% and (-) 25% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS; 325-1978 with upto date ammendments. it should include cost of bearing nuts bolts and pointing etc.and should meet the following requirements:- The pumping machinery shall be installed on a proper designed base plate. The foundation of the machinery should be proper designed and anchored properly. The electrical equipments such as starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bus bar chamber, ELCB, panel board, indicating lamps, Amp meter, Volt meter, Hour run meter, including incoming and outgoing cables should be of ISI marked. The suction, delivery and common header piping, byepass piping relevant to pump house sizes including concentiric-eccentric nozzles Y-T connections, flanges gaskets, suction straineer, sluice valve, non return vlae/valves on suction piping delivery, piping on header piping out side pump house and on bye pass piping and suitable type check valves on delivery piping as per required pressure gauge, with two way cock, ultrasonic type flow measuring instruments with difital flow indicating and intergrating device etc. complete within all leads and lifts. (Refer Data Sheet No.5 for detail specifications).
