Materials and Labour for Pea gravel 10mm size deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick,complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel wire or tape armoured, heavy duty electric cables with aluminium conductor, 11000 Volts (Earthed) Grade, cross sectional area 95 Sq. mm, 3 core, complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Spare/components for replacement will be measured seperately under respective items of this BOQ.

Locating fault in existing HT (11000 Volts Earthed) underground cable network by means of cable fault locator with fault-distance accuracy less than 0.75 M (depending on displayed range) with computer-controlled automatic sectionalizing and fault locating with a simple “turn and click” operation and submission of report to Engineer in Charge, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of tree branch of girth exc. 20 cm but n.exc. 30 cm for clearing obstruction upto 3.00 metres from HT overhead lines throughout the route including cleaning away grass, vegetation saplings, shrubs, brush wood, around poles and stay assembly and including removing rubbish up to a distance of 50 meters out side the periphery of the area under clearance, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of surfaces and applying one coat of aluminium paint on old painted surfaces of steel tubular swaged poles, type 410 SP-22 (8.50 Metres Long) including cross arms, bracings, clamps etc. up to 1.5 M above PCC base and marking alternate strip horizontally of width 15 cm with one coat of synthetic enamel paint black & yellow colour above PCC base up to 1.5M height and numbering of poles with letters and figures of height 75 mm at a height 2.60 metre from ground level,complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for complete removal of existing painting,preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on prepared surfaces of steel tubular swaged poles, type 410 SP-55 (11.00 Metres Long) in HT Two Pole Structure up to PCC base including cross arms, bracings,clamps etc.,complete all as specified and directed.

Comprehensive Maintenance of existing HT 11 KV,400/630/800 Amps rating VCBs (Make : Crompton Greaves/ Areva ‘Alstom’/ Schneider/ Seimens/ ITE/Andrew Yule) by removing from housing, overhauling the mechanical parts and periodic maintenance servicing of 11KV indoor/ outdoor VCBs, checking of quality of vacuum interrupter, insulation resistances, static contact resistance, testing ( IR value, Ratio Test, Polarity) and connection checking of 11 KV Current Transformer ( Set of Three) by primary injection kit ,testing and calibration of relay ( Set of, Two Over Current and One Earth Fault Relays) by secondary injection kit including,all other functional tests of the VCB panels including for CTs, PTs, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through Authorised Original Equipment Manufacturer's Service Centre Engineers or through OEM Certified Agencies as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (ii) Calibration and Testing(s) shall be done through State Electrical Licencing Board's valid electrical licence holder for the appropriate class/category of the work as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (iii) Spare Parts for replacement will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ here in after.

Disconnecting incoming,outgoing and earthing lead connections of transformers,100 KVA to 160 KVA,outdoor/indoor type from 11 KV /433 Volt supply system,taking down carefully from pole/platform etc and transportation to workshop for repairs,carrying out routine yearly maintenance works as per Table-1 of IS:10028 (Part-III) including rewinding defective LT/HT Coil of transformer with super enameled /paper coated copper wire/strip of existing gauge/size and provision of all associated insulating materials such as separator etc, varnishing all as per OEM's specifications including dismantling of top cover, conservator, all internal connections and taking out core carefully and re-insulation after rewinding work and all arrangements for draining out transformer oil and refilling including reconnection of all internal connections,transportation of transformer from workshop to site and re installation in original position and including reconnection of all incoming outgoing and earthing lead connections,testing and commissioning,complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through Authorised & Qualified agencies as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (ii) Super enameled /paper coated copper wire/strip for rewinding of defective HV/LV coils will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ. (iii) Testing(s) shall be done through State Electrical Licencing Board's valid electrical licence holder for the appropriate class/category of the work as approved by the Engineer in Charge. (iv) Spare Parts for replacement, topping up of transformer oil and dehydration & filteration of transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ here in after.
