Note: (i) Coved fillets in PCC(1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, of radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty/chimney/other vertical surfaces and thereafter surface painted with hot paving bitumen of Grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73, [email protected] Kg/Sqm over a coat of cold applied bituminous primer conforming to IS:3384 @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm. (ii) Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 45cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall of brick masonry and shall be finished by a membrane flushing. (iii) The waterproofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorized applicators. (iv) In case of stone masonry parapet wall etc a groove of size 25mmx25mm (minimum) shall be made in coved fillet at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty Chimney/other vertical surfaces and polymeric membrane inserted in groove and sealed with paving bitumen. (v) Cost of above aspects is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (vi) One coat of aluminium reflective paint should be applied on APP after sealing the joints of APP.
Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) MAKE :- dulux weather shield max/Nerolac Excel Everlast 12/Asian paint ultima protek / Berger weather coat long life 10 or Techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS.
M & L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete M10(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded stone aggregates, laid in alternate panel, finished surface even and fair including filling in position with 85/25 industrial grade bitumen mix filler of proportion 80 kg of hot bitumen, 1 kg of cement and 0.25 cubic metre of coarse sand as in plinth protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces on ceilings and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparing old surface of ceiling, plastered or unplastered by brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots & applying one coat of white wash etc complete all as specified & as directed.
S&F snake guard (door seal Aluminium plate with rubber beading) for door of approved size and shape etc complete all as specified and directed .
M&L for preparing old painted surfaces of steel or iron of materials of any description not otherwise described over 10cm girth or width & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint Ist quality complete all as specified and directed. Make - Berger / Nerolac / Assian or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS.
S & F in repair steel rolling shutters, area not exceeding 8 sqm, lath section made out of 1.00 mm thick sheet, self-coiling type (push-pull type or manual type) without ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer; erected in position as indicated complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for applying chemical compound with dispersing agents Removing (and not damaging the beneath brick or RCC surface) old existing unserviceable concrete, cement plaster, loose / unsound weaken cement of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surfaces of walls, or any surface average depth 5-25mm (Approx height 20 m from natural ground level) with concrete removing agent(except for zinc and galvanised metal) and clean the treated surface immediately after removal treatment, and removal up to the approval municipal dumping grounds specified by the local bodies outside MOD land including cutting of all edges, making square shoulders of the cavities, roughening the smooth surfaces, scrapping out / removing corrosion all loose / scale/ rust etc from the visible unplastered surface. Note-: This item shall be executed by authorised agency, Contractor shall submit the MOU with authorised applicator of manufacturer.
M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4 with using water proofing compound, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement,mixed with Power plasticizer Berger HS Home shiled and equivalent liquid water proofing compound @ 200ml per bag of cement,including prepartion of newly plastered surface and apllied two coat of Letax shiled 2k two compenent cementitous water proof coating (Approx height 20 m from natural ground level) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Mixing Ratio Part A(Liquid):Part B (Powder) Approx 1:1.5(by Vol.),1:2 by wt. Do Not mix part quantities, do not add extra water for dilution. Always add powder to the liquid, vice versa not recommended. Do not add cement or sand in the powder compenent at site. Do not expose the applied substrate to water until it is complete cured. Must be protected from direct sunlight, foot traffic etc at the green stage of application. (b) This item shall be executed by authorised agency, Contractor shall submit the MOU with authorised applicator of manufacturer.
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) of any description and in any position, above or below ground floors, not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling loose concrete cover of RCC columns,beams,slabs,Chajjas and the like as directed, roughening and cleaning concrete surfaces with steel wire brushes,washed with water and allowed to dry,including dusting of steel reinforcement,providing fabric mild steel wire mesh 75 mm x 75 mm of 2 mm dia as reinforcement to concrete surfaces,applying adhesive/admixyure over steel mesh and providing ordinary portland cement 53 grade and 2 parts of banas sand mixed with adhesive/admixture at the rate as per manufactures instruction or 2% by wt of cement all as directed with apressure of 2 to 2.5 kgs per sqm by guniting machine including necessary padding,steel scaffolding and shuttering for working platform/formwork etc complete all as specified and directed
Preparation of newly or previously untreated steel surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 12.5 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate, 25 mm thick in sub base for laying tiles, pavings, floorings etc. & finish surface even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed.
NOTE FOR PERIODICAL SERVICES :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work :- (i) All weather proof painting works, interior emulsion and water proofing works shall be got executed through original material manufacturing company or their authorised applicators and contractor should submit MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicator before execution of work and entire work shall be executed by the approved firm only. (ii) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-in-Charge/ Office-in-charge of unit. (iii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iv) All gaps between wall and window/ventilator shall be filled with PU based wall Gap fillers.
NOTE FOR PERIODICAL SERVICES (Contd..../-) :- (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery. The recovery of 10% of quoted rate shall be made in case of non cleaning of floor/ joinery /glasses etc. (vi) Min education qualification of Contractor supervisor shall be diploma with 5 years exp. / B Tech degree holder. (vii) Make specified in BOQ will supersede to all. (viii) Contractor shall on his arrangment provide all the safety provision/facilities (as per MES safety code) including uniform for labour & supervisor to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) Bidder shall note understand that the rate quoted by him and in r/o of above notes, items shall be deemed included in quoted rate and no extra on this account is admissible.
