Repair/replacement of GI/CI water supply distribution pipe lines, cleaning of main reservoir, cleaning water sump and BP tanks and other connected works at BOSS area, LSNS and USNS at Yol Cantt

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I :- Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 metre wide and n.exc 1.5 metre deep and getting out in any type of soil, all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25cm, all as specified.

Removal of excavated material to be distance n.exc 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m high from the starting point, all as specified.

Cutting of roads for laying of pipe of any type and size and making good road by providing soling with broken boulders or quarried stone, WBM of existing thickness and finally topping with bituminous macadum of existing thickness (bituminous macadum comprising of stone chipping and cold emulsion as per manufacturer's instructions) including necessary compaction by rolling etc. to match existing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning of water storage tank under ground type having size 3mx3m and height 2m of capacity 4000 gallons ltre capacity, at USNS near slate godaam. The cleaning shall be carried out by taking cut all scale, dirt and gravel deposited at the bottom and removing sludge at a distance not exc 15m from the top circumference of the tank complete with water by adding bleaching powder to remove moulds, fungus etc and making it neat and clean all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M & L for Cleaning of uderground storage water tanks/ sump having of size of tank 25.70 metres x 45 metres and height 5.70 metres of capacity 9.24 lakhs gallon from inside taking out algee scale, dirt and gravel deposited at bottom of tank and to be disposed off to a distance not less than 15 metres from top circumference of tank including cleaning and removing sludge, algee from existing gallery of beds and removing moulds, fungus etc with water mixed with bleaching powder complete all as specified.

All as per Srl item No 6 above but of size of tank 18.80 metres and depth 3 metres of capacity 2.0/1.51 lakhs gallons, complete, all as specified.

All as per Srl item No 6 above but of size of tank 18.80 metres x 12.60 metres and height 2.90 metres with partition walls of capacity 75000 lakhs gallons including back wash tank and intake chambers complete, all as specified.

All as per Srl item No 6 above but set of 4 Nos of sedimentation tank of capacity 75,000 gallons complete, all as specified.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (40 mm grade atone aggregate) for support of main line from main reservoir to USNS 4000 gallon capacity tank including LSNS & BOS area and repair of 4000 gallon tank, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Taking up AC preaaure/GI/ cast iron water mains/pipes (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends/ flanged ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead, including disconnecting pipes and fittings complete of size 100mm dia, all as specified.

Mild steel galvanised iron water tubing 100mm bore with screwed & socket joints, medium grade, galvanised, with all fittings, such as sockets, bends, elbows, unions, tees, diminishing pieces etc. laid in trenches in old existing or new routes or under roads, complete, all as specified and directed.

Cast iron Sluice valve for water supply purpose with C.I. drilled flanged ends (integrally cast), class PN-1 conforming to IS-14846 of 2000, ISI marked with stainless steel spindle and iron wheel including jointing material complete such as rubber insertion packing rings with adequate size and requisite numbers nut, bolt and washer complete of the of size 100mm bore, including taking out old valve, any type, all as specified. Note:- Flanged joints excavation and earth works will be measured and paid seperately.

Run lead joint to socket and spigot pipe and pipe fittings for 80 mm bore of pipecoming main line from Ekko khad to Yol cantt complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Renewal joint with rubber or fibre board gasket for jointing flanged pipe and fittings of 100mm bore with nut, bolt & washers of appropriate size complete, all as specified.

Renewal joint with rubber or fibre board gasket for jointing flanged pipe and fittings of 80mm bore with nut, bolt & washers of appropriate size complete, all as specified.

Brick masonry valve pit of size 120x120x120cms (internal dimension) with earth work in any type of soil, plain cement concrete M-10 type C-2 as in foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6 (01 cement : 06 coarse sand) 23cms thick, 15mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (01 cement : 04 coarse sand) internally and externally flush pointed in same mortar as the work proceeds flooring shall be 40mm thick in plain cement concrete M-15 (Nominal mix) laid over 75mm thick hard core top cover shall be made out of mild steel sheet 3.15mm thick fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle size 40x40x6mm with two number of hinges on one side and locking aggangement at other side with 50mm pad lock complete including painting with two coats of sythetic enamel pait over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Strainer suitable for 100mm bore of pipe (AC/CI) with 3mm thickness 30mm hole making on overall surface with 100mm pitch distance maintain from one hole to nother in any direction and length 1200mm, fixed in poistion, complete all as specified and directed.
