Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for culvrerts, cesspit,roads ,manholes etc and getting out (soft/loose soil), complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating road formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller, watering as necessary including filling in hollows and depression and consolidating to the requaired level, gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, Laying, compaction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material confirming to spcifications i.e Grading II, conforming o Clause 401 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), mixing in mechancial mixplant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of capacity 8 & 12 tonne to achieve the desired density, 150 mm thick compacted thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, Laying, compaction of wet mix macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision),250 mm thick (compacted thickness, 125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm), grading of aggregates as per Table 400 -13 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads &lifts laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and comfacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1 . The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each of 125 mm thick (Compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose, both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfacced Wet mix maccadam (WMM) surfaces by sweeping clean by broom or machanical sweepers and removing completely all loose material and other foreign ad finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with ccationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, laying &compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 MM compacted thickness conforming to clauses 504 of MORT&H specification for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading 11 as per table 500-7 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) premixed with bituminous binder, bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by wait of total mix)prepared in Batch Type Hot Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tibbers , laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.4 of MORT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty ass specified in respective items of BOQ , it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 54.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of bituminous and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to clauses 503 of MORT&H specification for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade, confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10sq meters using primer distributor which shall be self- propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clauses 507 of MORT&H specification for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), including cost of coarse aggregates fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder paving Bitumen grade VG-30 content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregaters of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and garde as per the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per design in Hot Plant (Batch Type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other a pproved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled , vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality contorl tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.

Note -(i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per clause for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen cntent shall not be less than 5.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MORT&H specifications (FifthRevision). (ii) The cost of material, transportation, Job mix formula from lab and testing chargesfor various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of filler i.e rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be incuded in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty ass specified in respective items of BOQ , it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 54.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 MoRT&H specifications entire surface during the operation shal be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause No 507.4.8 of MoRT&H Spectifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quooted rate.

M&L for Precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone agg as in kerb stone etc incl weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating incl necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Forming embankments up to 3 m high including raising (or lowering )earth ,spreading in layers n exc 30 cm thick; watering ,ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape,etcn.exc 1.50 m high from base complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Earth to be used obtained from excavation over area item No 02 above.

Removing excavated material (soil) n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at alevel n.exc 1.50 m above the star point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly surfaces for road marking paint hot applied marking centre line and other marking on PCC pavement and flexible surface of runway/taxi track and the like and applying one coat of thermoplastic road marking paint (white or yellow) conforming traffic sign section 803 on previously treated surfaces as per manufacturars instructions complete all as specified and directed.
