ELEVATED MAIN & SERVICE RESERVOIRS Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning R.C.C. Elevated Circular Over head storage tanks as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipeproper manifiold at outlet including all fittings, bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside ventilator with mosquito proof wire mesh,lightening arrester complete ,SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves & other accessories shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of Five sets of structural design after testing the bearing capcity of soil and drawings, etc complete as directed by engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work. refer to data sheet No 2

RISING MAIN Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration metaled , unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing , laying, jointing & testing with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) steel flanged pipes after every 100 mtr of pipe of following diametr .Conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also include flanged joints duly welded in three layers (One inner & two outer), where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials ( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. refer to data sheet No 3

Submersible Pumping Machinery:- Supply of Submersiblel Pumping Set of Calama/KSB/Crompton/SU/Johnston conforming to BIS-8034-1976 (Latest) suitable for clear water fitted with bronze Impellers or suitable alloys directly cooupled to squirrell cage electric Induction Motor of same make as that of Pump conforming to BIS:9283-1979(Latest with uptosate ammendments) and totally water proof for Submersible duty,isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double Mechanical seal in oil chamber,grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand non-vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take-up expansion of water with the heating of motor including water level guard,erection clamps,cable clips and depth gauge etc. The Pump shall be suitable for operation on data given below including Pump sets (working ), necessary piping and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including earthing ,specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications, technical data Sheets and instruction of Engineer in charge. refer to data sheet No 4 for Boq item No 16.03 to 16.11
Starter:- Variable frequency drive starter of required HP Heavy Duty for smooth start and smooth stop of pumps and for the energy conservation in the system. It Should be capable to control the frequecy of pumps through out the operation and also should be capable to maintain the power factor of the system within acceptable limits. It should have ambient temperature 50 Degree without derating and have conformal coating class 3C2, so that it can work in any harsh environment like moisture etc. Make: Aarmation Electric Private Limited/MAS/ELLES along with following accessories:- refer to data sheet No 4 for Boq item No 16.03 to 16.11
