Cleaning of grass : Cleaning of grasses/ bushes/ wild vegetation and removal of roots /rubbish and disposal of the same outside the periphery of ash pond 4 including cleaning and dressing the exposed ash surface in side the the pond as directed by Manager In Charge.

Excavation in earth : Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. as directed by Manager In Charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Compaction of the exposed ash top surface by rolling inside ash pond 4 with mechanical roller after completion of striping but before laying of clay layer filling

Excavation, transportiong, and filling ash from designated borrow area : Excavating ash from designated borrow area inside the ash pond 1, including haulage roads / formation of access for transportation, dumping, spreading in specified layers and compacting with necessary number of passes using vibratory rollers with sheep foot from existing levels of ash deposits in the pond to required level, as per drawings and specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge within all leads. Payment shall be made as per cross-sectional area after deducting 5% for voids. Note:- Borrow areas for collecting the ash shall be as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation in required type of soil as specified at all depths from borrow pits in the land arranged by contractor outside the NALCO'S acquired area to required levels, grades and dressing including clearing of site somplete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge in both dry and wet conditions including necessary pumping/ bailing out of water, sllush removal etc. and transportation of the excavated earth from the borrow areas to the place of work including all leads and lifts, and dumping othe excavated material to fill areas at all heights and descents including spreading, leveling in layers of 200 mm to 250 mm thick (or the full thickness of the soil layer in less than 200mm) to correct slope and grades inclusive of special compaction using approved vibratory rollers with sheep foot or plane roller as per requirement with density equal to 95% of the maximum dry density (standard proctor) including providing extra width 500 mm to facilitate the full compaction at edge of earth cover, dressing to profile, and trimming all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge, all materials, tools, royalty, plant and labour complete. With intermidiate clay to high clay soil.

With low clay to Intermediate soil

Providing and placing cement concrete 1:3:6 : Providing and placing cement concrete of mix 1:3:6 mix with maximum size of stone aggregate of 40mm at all evevation for foundations of drains, sump pits, slope drains etc. including all labour material, equipment, handling, transporting, batching, mixing, placing, leveling, compacting, curing etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directings of the Engineer-in-charge. (Cement will be issued free of cost from CPP Central Store )

Providing and laying Brick work with flyash lime bricks (FAL-G) confirming to IS 12894-1998 or cement ash bricks of class designation 100 in, slope drains, parapet walls etc in cement mortar in 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand) with point and at all elevations and lead distance as per drawings, scaffolding, curing, fair cutting, keeping in plumb, levelling including all materials labour, tools and tackles as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Cement will be issued free of cost from CPP Central Store )

Providing cement plaster : Providing 15mm thick Cement plaster in 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand over flyash brick masonry, concrete works at all heights including scaffolding, curing, as per specification, drawing and direction of engineer-in-charge all materials, tools, and labour complete. (Cement will be issued free of cost from CPP Central Store )

Neat cement punning : Providing neat cement punning over plaster surface at all heights including scaffolding, curing, as per specification, drawing and direction of engineer-in-charge all materials, tools, and labour complete. (Cement will be issued free of cost from CPP Central Store )

Dismantling of stone boulders/ stones from dry pitchings,drains,ripraps, rocktoes etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material upto 50.0m lead.

Dismantling/demolishing of the RCC works manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material & disposal of unserviceable material,debris etc. within a lead of 50m as per the direction of MIC.

Transportation/ diposal of surplus debris/hyacinth by mechanical transport within a lead of 2.0KMs including re-excavating the same if required, loading, unloading and dressing at unloaded site etc. complete as per the direction of MIC.

Laying dry stone pitching 22.5cm thick with the available stones and preparing surface complete as per the direction of MIC.
