M & L for preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm with mechanical pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 3 cm thick (consolidated thickness) with 0.41 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 Kg of paving bitumen (VG-30 grade), spread, rolled and compacted with 10 to 12 ton power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3 mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm and rolled with 10 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (Paving bitumen VG-30 grade) 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings)(depth of potholes exc 30mm) including rolled with 10 to 12 tonne road roller all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), using binder contents 4% by weight of total mix, over primed surfaces of road using paving bitumen (grade VG-30), any penetration, laid/rolled and compacted with 10 to 12 ton power roller to required camber and gradient over a tack coat complete all as specified in SSR 2009 (Part - I) and as directed. (Note : Tack coat shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item.)

M & L for Applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) @ 10 kg per 10 Sqm with mechanical pressure sprayer andcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for moorum or red bajri filling in layers of 10 cm thick (compact thickness) spread, levelled and rolled and consolidated with 10 to 12 tonne power roller including watering as in road side berms complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Consolidated thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.)

M & L for continuous brick edging using fly ash bricks with width equal to the width of brick; laid dry on end vertically including necessary excavation work complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and applying road marking strips (paint) 2.0 mm thick (retro reflective paint) conforming to BS 3262, of specified shade / colour, width not exceeding 10 cm, with hot thermoplastic material spread and laid by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads (20%, intermixed) dispanser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including cleaning the road surfaces of all dirts, seals, oil, grease ans foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Deduct the total amount of credit against Sch 'A' Rs (-) 00.00/- (*) This amount is fixed and shall be deducted from the quoted amount of the bidder to arrive at contract sum.
