Performing pumping operation of water supply installations of civil engineering department. Scope of Work :- 1) Pump operation and minor repairs of pumps by deploying qualified Pump operator/Mechanic in 3 shifts at water supply installations on rotation basis as per the instructions of Engineer IN charge with valid Certificate Holders (preferably Mechanic/Pump mechanic ) from any recognized institution or with previous experience of handling the pump. 2) Periodical servicing and minor repair of valves, pumps and water level gauges as and when necessary or as directed by the Department in charge. 3) The spares for replacement shall be arranged by the department which shall be made available at the sub-division's site office / store for minor repair like., assembling, dismantling, loading unloading, replacements of gland rope, maintenance of valves, main valves operation, replacement of foot valve, lifting and lowering of submersible pumps whenever required and transporting the spares to the required work spot including all T&P etc. complete. 4) The old dismantled materials and accessories should be handed over to the water supply sub stores after successful completion of the job. 5) The operator should not allow the unauthorized person to enter in the water supply installation areas. 6)Furthermore one Technician/supervisor is required in general shift to co-ordinate the pumping operations/plumbing works, including maintaining the pumps by greasing, up keeping of the pumps, following up of complaints relating to the plumbing works, updating the inventory of the materials in water supply sub store and maintaining various registers related to complaints, daily water consumption, maintenance schedule, preparation of duty roster etc., as directed by the Department

Performing plumbing works of water supply system of civil engineering department. Scope of Work :- 1) Plumbing works and minor repairs of water supply system by deploying qualified a Plumber in shifts for water supply system on rotation basis as per the instructions of Engineer In charge with valid Certificate Holders (preferably Plumber) from any recognized institution or with previous experience of plumbing works. 2) Periodical servicing and minor repair of valves, fittings, joints as and when necessary or as directed by the Department in charge. 3) The spares for replacement shall be arranged by the department which shall be made available at the sub-division's site office / store for minor repair like., assembling, dismantling, loading unloading, replacements and repairs of fittings, and transporting the spares to the required work spot including all T&P etc. complete. 4) The old dismantled materials and accessories should be handed over to the water supply sub stores after successful completion of the job. 5) The plumber should not allow the unauthorized person to enter in the water supply installation areas.
