REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN TECHNICAL AND DOMESTIC AREA AT BRD AF STN CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, or in any position (after staging) etc. and removal outside the MoD land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5 mm graded stone agg ) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD land and providing following :- (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including and removal outside the MoD land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km as directed. (b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials sch as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of average thickness of 50mm. (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement. (d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. (e) After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface.

(f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surgace with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. (h) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed. Note for item No 3.0 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturers only as mentioned in PS. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. (ii) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only. (iii) A performance guarantee certificate and guarantee amount equal to 5% cost of WPT for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified. (iv) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

All as per item No 03 above but on vertical surface, complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:6) using grey cement and grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement laid on concrete roof, complete all specified and directed.

All as per item No.5 above but except brick tiles

M&L for cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, with grey cement and no pigments machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in roof and laid over 15mm thick cement mortar (1:6) complete as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick work, concrete surfaces at any height finished even and fair without using extra cement of , including taking down and removal outside the MoD land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formork etc complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Snowcem Bombay/ Silvocem/ Durocem/ Super Snowcem/ Aquacem/ Decocem.

Material and labour for brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with using retrieved subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), but except bricks, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition vide srl item No 1here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

S&F Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed. Make:- DI- PLAST/SINTEX/POLYCON

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity 500 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for 20mm bore Tubes, `medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors including cutting chasing into wall etc including taking down old pipe complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jindal/TATA/Surya

S&F in repair Ball valves high pressure PTMT ISI marked, with epoxy coated alluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe of 15mm bore (minimum weight 142gm) fixed complete all as specified and directed. Make:- PRAYAG/ POLYTUFF/POLYCON

S & F in repair 20mm bore of pipe stop valve, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed etc complete all as specified and directed.

Grubbing up tree trunk upto root girth not exc. 15 cm including cutting of trunk portion protuding over wall surface/roof surface/terrace of building height up to 10.0 mtr including necessary scaffolding with necessary safety measure if required and making good the surface in cement mortar (1:3) and applying one coat of anti growth of vegetation chemical as per manufacturer's instruction and removal of unserviceable material out side MoD land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km and cleaning site complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position and thickness( reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) and removal of debris outside MoD land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in CM (1:6) finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removing the demolished material out side of the defence land distance exceeding 2.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered/concrete surfaces of wall and applying two coats of oil bond distemper over a coat of primer, complete all specified and as directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 58985.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
