M&L for taking down of old unserviceable copper earthing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode of size 600mmX600mmx3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metres below the normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL and connected to copper strip of size 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron steel all as shown in Electrical Plate No.3 connecting to earthing test point, including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC earth chamber made in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded aggregate), common salt, charcoal, CI funnel, earth pit cover in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded aggregates), with 8mm CTD bars @ 100mm c/c in both ways, including necessary form work complete including necessry test on completion all as specified and as directed. Note : The unit rate shall also be included for excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit, RCC cover slab, GI funnel with 40 mm dia watering pipe, wire mesh, 15mm dia light grade GI protection pipe for earth lead etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated soil to a distance n. exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Riddled sand filling in trenches for cushioning of HT/LT UG cables punning after filling complete as specified and as directed Note: Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm in hard dense soil and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m & making good surface complete all as specified and directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) filling and mass concrete in foundation, post holes etc complete all as spd and as directed.

S & F in Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts ,posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 incl curved or ramped portions of hand rails to required shape or figure (curved, ramped or scroll portions only measured) complete all as spd and as directed by Engineer in charge

Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer completed all as specified and directed
