CERTAIN B/R REPAIRS MAINTENANCE FOR LEAKAGE ARRESTING WORKS IN STATIC WATER TANKS OHT FIREFIGHTING TANKS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT NAD NAUSENABAUGH AND NAVAL BASE AND CONNECTED WITH CERTAIN WATER SUPPLY WORKS UNDER GE U II VISAKHAPATNAM

M & L for cutting 'V' groove along existing construction joints / crack lines on reinforced concrete surfaces to a size not less than 10mm wide and 30mm deep or upto the extent of joint/crack using electricity operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning the cut surfaces by air blower including sealing the cut portion with solvent-free, moisture tolerant, epoxy resin based two component putty/ repair mortar [Sikagard 694 F(I) of SIKA/ Exposeal UW of FOSROC/ Maxflex EU of THERMAX/ Shalibond 41 of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M & L for Drilling Holes of 12mm dia upto 100 mm deep holes in reinforced cement concrete structural members at an interval of 300mm in staggered manner or along the construction joints & crack lines including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12mm dia Non Returnable Valve nozzle compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun including fixing the nozzle with thixotropic epoxy adhesive of SikaDur 31 of SIKA/ Conbextra EP 100 of FOSROC/ Maxflex PU-I of THERMAX/ Shaligrout EI of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications to ensure complete sealing and allowed for curing of minimum eight hours before Grouting including removing the nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete members and grinding, leveling and finishing the external surfaces after completion of the work etc. complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M & L for injection grouting with pourable non shrink expanding cementitious grout/slurry [SikaGrout -214 IN of SIKA/ Cebex 100 of FOSROC/ Maxgrout-45 of THERMAX/ Shaliplast 100 of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] and sealing the nozzle with solvent-free, moisture tolerant, epoxy resin based two component putty/ repair mortar [Sikagard 694 F(I) of SIKA/ Exposeal UW of FOSROC/ Maxflex EU of THERMAX/ Shalibond 41 of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. [Note: Leakage through other nozzle or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost.]

M & L for providing two coats of ready to use two components polymer modified cementitious coating [Sika Top Seal 107 or Aqua Arm Top Guard of SIKA/ Brushbond of FOSROC/ Elasplast ROL 10 Mucis of THERMAX/ Shalicem Abra of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] on walls and floors inside of water tanks complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. [Note: First Coat should be applied horizontally and second coat should be applied vertically. The overall thickness of coating shall not be less than 1.5mm]

M & L for providing two coats of water based epoxy coating certified for portable water [Sikagard 67 of SIKA/ Nitokote EP 405 of FOSROC/ T Grout EC 200 of THERMAX/ Tankmastic of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] on all over the internal reinforced cement concrete surfaces of water tanks complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. [Note: The Thickness after two coating shall not be less than 500 microns. The coating shall be applied using brush. First Coat shall be allowed to dry for 6 to 8 hours and then second coat shall be applied and allow it to cure complete 24 hrs.]

Demolition / removing of existing unsound/ weak/ loose concrete including concrete around the rusted reinforcement bars upto required depth by low impact high frequency hammer/ chipper without damaging the sound concrete, in straight line geometrical forms, grooving the edges with grinder upto 5 -10 mm depth without damaging existing rebars, carefully removing and stacking of debris at prescribed location as directed, disposing off the debris outside the MoD land complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. [Note: Before demolition/ removing of existing concrete members proper examination of surfaces shall be conducted to identify the loose concrete areas of structural elements by tapping with light hammer without any disturbance to the adjoining sound concrete elements.]

M & L for providing two component solvent free ready to use epoxy bonding agent [Sikadur 32LP or Re Arm Superbond of SIKA/ Nitobond EP of FOSROC/ TM Bond EP of THERMAX or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] for bonding old concrete to new concrete applied over old concrete using brush including necessary preparation of surface removing of all dust or latiance and cleaning the surface complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. Note: The material shall have the following properties:- [a] Compressive strength 50 N/mm2 at 7 Days [b] Flexural strenght 35N/mms at 7 Days [c] Shear strength ION/mm2 at 7 Days [d] Tensile strength 20 N/mm2 [e] Bond Strength of ION/mm2.

M & L for cleaning the existing rusted reinforcement bars with wire brush/ rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, dirt, etc. including providing and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer [Sika Rust Off 100 or ReArm Rust Remover of SIKA/ Reebahen SRR of FOSROC/ Maxcure RR of THERMAX/ Shalifix FRM CI of STP or equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] with brush and complete wetting of rusted metal surface and allowed to react for 16-24 hours to form a protective white layer which will protect further corrosion of metal / steel for about 5-7 days complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing and applying two component cement based polymer modified ready to use passivator/ anti corrosion coating [Aqua Arm Coat ZP of SIKA/ Nitocoat AP35 of FOSROC/ Maxcure 10 of THERMAX/ Shalikote AC of STP or its equivalent chemical as specified herein after in Particular Specifications] compatible with the reinstatement methods adopted to the steel reinforcement for corrosion protection including necessary preparation of surfaces with wire brush and thoroughly cleaned for dust with dry cloth complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.
