Development of Water Supply Scheme Tube wells, rising mains, OHTs, Distribution System, House Service Connections including Allied Works with 2 years O and M at Rudrapur Town.

Topographical Survey, Geotechnical investigation, Design, Drawing & Documentation work for Water supply and other ancillary works: Work Shall Include Design, Engineering, Preparation of Good for Construction drawing for civil, structural, mechanical electrical & instrumentation and vetting of major RCC structures from reputed Govt. institute (IIT/NIT or approved by Employer's Representative) Pipe line route survey ,Proposed & Existing Components Plot Survey,Household survey (Door to Door Survey), geo-tagging, Trial pits etc. as per Technical specification and as directed by Employer's Representative .

Excavation in ordinary soil (loam, clay, sand) for pipe line trenches including lift up to 1.5 m and all leads with back filling in layers not exceeding 20 cm including consolidation, watering, ramming of excavated earth in the trenches.

Excavation in soil mixed with single bouldres etc. requireing the use of special T&P, if any, for pipe line trenches including lift up to 1.5 m and all leads with back filling, watering, ramming of excavated earth in the trenches.

Filling of earth in trenches or in embankment by available earth in the layers not exceeding 20 cm in thickness with consolidation of each layer by ramming with mechanical compector under optimum moisture content (OMC) to give atleast 95% of maximum dry density (proctor density). Boulders or broken rock pieces are not allowed in filling of earth. (other than item No.4,5).

Dewatering of water caused due to seepage of ground water and surface water, including rain etc. excluding excavation of foundation but during execution of civil works including supply of all machine operator, khalashi, POL, T&P, accessories required for proper completion of the work including disposal to the nearest drainage or as as directed by Employers Representative.

Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the general public using 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as vertical post with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground, providing and fixing suitably two rows of 100 mm wide PVC Tape preferabley of red colour. The M.S. pipe shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per approved pattern as and when it becomes shabby but at least after every alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading the hole shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect. (Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).

Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the general public using 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as vertical post with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground, providing and fixing two rows of 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as horizontal members with nuts & bolts. Both vertical and horizontal members shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per approved pattern as when it becomes shabby but at least after every alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading holes shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect. (Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).

Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6 mm angle iron or 50x50x3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/ bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40x40x6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Employer's Representative which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Employer's Representative. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Employer's Representative.(Note : One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).
