SPL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT VARIOUS UNIT UNDER GE S BINNAGURI

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in flooring, plinth protection/footpath finishing cement concrete surface even and rough without using extra cement to receive the topping layer or tilling, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as per specified and as directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or Basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing of black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing stacking and deposing off, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any penetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009) and, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but variation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contractor shall quote accordingly.
