Dismantling of 15 cusec pump and 400 HP three phase induction motor from its installed position by way of decoupling of pump motor assembly, extraction of bearing housing assembly, lifting and disassembling of discharge head from base plate, extraction of flanged column pipes by way of unscrewing/cutting rusted nuts and bolts by gas cutter and unscrewing/cutting of screw couplings of shafts one by one in a careful manner and then lifting of entire bowl assembly. The job involves using of highly skilled labour for careful disassembling of pumping unit which requires both skill and patience. Shifting of disassembled parts in private load carrier to work shop for repairs.

Manufacturing, providing, fitting of bronze split packing Gland, bronze brackets, lantern ring, studs, nuts etc and providing of ½ sq. inch packing as per sample.

Disassembling of entire bearing housing assembly at workshop and brazing the pipe ends of copper tubing to bearing housing inlet and outlet ports to prevent the leakage of water in bearing housing new. The job also involves replacing the GI cooling assembly components like pipe ½ inch nipples, elbow joints, union, globe valve etc wherever necessary etc.

Providing and fitting of thrust bearing no. 29422 of SKF/Timken/FAG/NSK make and its adequate greasing.

Providing and fitting of ball bearing no. 6026 of SKF/Timken/FAG/NSK make and its adequate greasing.

Repairs to the head shaft assembly by way of : Manufacturing, providing, fitting of SS 410 head shaft sleeve fabricated out of solid SS cylinder as per requirement. The job includes boring, turning, facing, finishing, balancing operations on lathe using skilled operator as per sample. The sleeve shall be shrink fitted to head shaft.

Repairs to the Bearing retainer assembly (centre kit) by way of Providing, fitting of Cutless bush of nitrile rubber in brass/steel retainer as per requirement.

Repairs to line shaft assembly by way of : Manufacturing, providing, fitting of SS AISI 410 column shaft sleeve fabricated out of solid SS cylinder as per requirement. The job includes boring, turning, facing, finishing, balancing operations on lathe using skilled operator.

Manufacturing, providing and fitting of Cutless bush of nitrile rubber in brass retainer for bowl stages

Design, manufacturing, providing, fitting of robust basket-type strainer fabricated out of 12mm mm round steel bars and GI mesh. The strainer shall be painted with two coat of bituminous paint.

Back carriage and reassembling of entire pumping unit in a sequential manner for proper fitment and alignment of mating parts at site. The job involves providing and fitting of nuts, bolts of assorted sizes for column pipes, discharge bend, base plate etc. The job includes the cost on account of labour charges for both skilled, semi-skilled labour, carriage charges, head load charges, hiring charges of tools and tackles, gas cutter, connecting three phase power supply and testing on full load. (Note: The old damaged bearings/scrap shall be returned to divisional store )
