Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submitting their tenders.

The contractor/authorized signatory should attach his/her scanned signature to the Schedule-B before uploading the documents

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever

Any Modification/clarification will be published in the kpp portal. The bidders are advised to visit the portal regularly.

They should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1% or as modified by Govt. from time to time Cess from the contractors bill under the provisions of building and other constructions worker welfare Cess Act 1996

Successful bidders should execute the agreement within 05 days from the date of approval intimated. If the contractor fails to enter into the agreement within the said period, the EMD of the contractor shall be forfeited and action shall be initiated for barring to participate in the tender of KBJNL

Contractor shall bear the service tax as per the reverse charge mechanism as per Government of India Notification No 30/2012 Service Tax Dated 20-6-2012 and any modifications/charges notified by the Government of India from time to time and on date of payment.

If work pertains to SC/ST/CAT-I/CAT-II(A):The contractor belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes/CAT-I/CAT-II(A) shall be domicile of the State of Karnataka more than 10 Years and should furnish the Certificate

SC/ST/CAT-I/CAT-II(A) Contractors, Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5%of the contract price shall be deducted in every running bill. However in case of first and Final bill the entire security deposit will be deducted from the the final bill.

Agency should complete the work within the stipulated tender period, if fails action will be initiated as per tender conditions

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any Certification/ information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid

Not with standing anything stated above, KBJNL reserves right to assess the bidder capability and capacity to perform the contract, if the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of KBJNL

The Photographs of all the Closure and Special repair works before commencement, during and after completion of works are taken up for records and reference in digital mode with dates. The photographs should be taken in such a way that it reflects the damage that is to be tackled include the Engineer-in-charge of work standing near the reach, and the photo after completion of the work should be in the same chainage as taken after completion of the work should be in the same chainage as taken before the commencement of the work. One copy of the same shall be enclosed to the bills submitted for payment.

Royalty recovery will be made as per relevant Government orders

The bidder whose quoted offer is below the amount put to tender the contractor shall mandatorily upload the additional performance security in the form of DD/Bankers cheque/FDR in favour of Executive Engineer, KBJNL,NLBC Division, Rodalabanda payable at Rodalabanda failing to which the bid shall be considered non responsive and the EMD of contractor shall be forfeited and action shall be initiated for blacklisting of the bidder

The bidder whose quoted offer is equal/above the amount put to tender. The contractor shall mandatorily upload the documents stating the quoted offer is equal/above the amount put tender

The bidder other than SC/ST/CAT1/CAT2A whose quoted offer is equal/above the amount put to tender. The contractor shall mandatorily upload the documents stating the quoted offer is equal/above the amount put tender

Time is essence of Closure works and Special works should be completed within the period. Hence, only Two (02) works will be awarded to each bidder as per his order of preference. If preference is not given by the bidder, decision of the tender inviting authority is final and binding

Time is essence of Closure/Special repair works and works should be completed within the period. Hence, only 1 month for Closure & for Special works will be awarded

The successful bidder shall furnish within 05 days from issue of letter of intent before entering into agreement (1) Copy of Income Tax returns filed mentioning PAN and TAN for the financial year 2025-26 Assessment year 2026-27) failing which the EMD amount will be forfeited and the tender will be rejected and the bidder shall be liable for subsequent penal action including black listing
