Construction of valve pit chamber with brick masonary with sub class 'B' bricks (one brick thick) in cement mortar (1:6) and necessary PCC (75mm thick) type D2 (1:4:8) as in foundation and 15mm thick plastering on brick work in cement mortar (1:4) including necessary earthwork etc work having internal dimension 120cm x 120cm x 90cm and providing of 3mm thick MS sheet cover duly hinged on 40mm x 40mm x 6mm angle iron frame and embedded on top of chamber by minimum 4 Nos MS hold fast. Necessary locking arrangement shall be provided to the sheet cover for safety. The steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats black bituminous paint over a coat of anti corrosive red oxide primer complete after demolition of old valve pit chamber all as specified and directed.
