CWE/HILLS/PGH/42 OF 2026-27 PROVISION OF HT 11 KV SUPPLY WITH TRANSFORMER AT MIL STN PITHORAGARH

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of energy efficient capacity (continuous loading) 11/0.433 KV step down distribution transformer, 250 KVA, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50Hz, Dyn 11 vector group, ONAN (Oil Natural Air Natural) copper wound transformer (Electrolytic grade) 99,9% pure copper, Core made of first grade Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO), Core grade, suitable for out door applications with Offload Tap Changer on HV side having delta connection on primary side (HV side) and star connection on secondary side (LV Side) having tapping ± 7.5% in step of 2.5% to be varied by manually operated Off load tap changing gear, having HT bushing on HV side and LV bushing and LT cable end box on LV side with neutral brought out side for earth connection suitable for 3 Core x 120 Sqmm XLPE cable of 11 KV grade (HT side) and 3.5 Core x 400 Sqmm XLPE cable (LV side). The maximum flux density in any part of the core and yoke at rated voltage and frequency shall be such that the flux density with + 12.5 percent combined voltage and frequency variation from rated voltage and frequency does not exceed 1.9 Tesla. The permissible temperature-rise shall not exceed 40°C for oil and 45°C for winding. Inside of tank shall be painted with varnish or liquid resistant paint. For external surfaces one coat of thermo setting powder paint or one coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of polyurethane base paint shall be used. IS: 1180 (Part 3) shall be referred to for paint thickness for normal to medium corrosive atmosphere. For highly polluted atmosphere and special application external paint work shall be as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Design ambient condition : a) air temperature 50 0C, b) Relative Humidity 90 % Max, c) Seismic Zone as per location of site, d) Altitude of Pithoragarh site. Noise level Shall not exceed limits as per NEMA TR-1 with all accessories running measured as per IEC 551 / NEMA standard. The transformer shall be IS : 1180 (PART-I) : 2014 (Fourth Revision) with latest amendments BIS certified (ISI mark) level 3 energy level configuration complete with all standard accessories complete all as specified and as directed. Make : ABB/ Schneider/ ITE Gurgaon/ Voltamp or as approved by GE

The transformer should have QR code which should contain drawing, test report OEM manual, Geo- Tag of manufacturing location etc. Marking Each transformer shall be provided with rating plate made of anodized aluminium/ stainless steel material securely fixed on the outer body, easily accessible, as per IS: 1180 Part-3. The entries on the rating plate shall be indelibly marked. Fitting and Accessories : The following fittings shall be provided:- a) Two earthing terminals with the earthing symbol b) Oil level gauge indicating oil level at minimum, 30°C and maximum operating temperature; c) Air release device (for non-sealed type transformers) d) Rating and terminal marking plates; e) Silica gel breather f) Drain-cum-sampling valve (¾″ nominal size thread, IS 554) preferably steel with plug for three phase transformers; g) Thermometer pocket with cap; h) Oil filling holes having (1¼″ nominal size thread) with cover (for sealed type transformers without conservator); i) Lifting lugs for the complete transformer as well as for core and winding assembly; j) Pressure relief device or explosion vent; k) One filter valve on the upper side of the tank ; l) Unidirectional flat rollers, m) Inspection hole; n) HV side neutral grounding strip (where one of the HV bushing terminal is connected to earth); o) Arcing horns or suitable rating lightning arrestors for HT side – 3 Nos. q) Bird guard; r) Oil temperature indicator and winding temperature indicators, t) Additional Neutral separately brought out on bushing for earthing. v) Non return valve (for conducting pressure test); w) Pressure relief device or explosion vent x). Monogram Plate y) Inspection cover z). Detachable type radiators with top and bottom shutoff valve. aa) Oil Conservator with Oil level indicator, minimum level marking and drain plug. bb) Necessary hardware, clamps, lugs etc. for termination on HV/MV etc.

Supply and laying of HT underground cable XLPE insulated, screened with extruded semiconducting compound in combination with copper tape (0.3 KA for 1 sec) cores laid up, inner PVC sheathed, galvanized steel strip armoured, overall PVC sheathed electric power cable with stranded compact aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade 95 Sqmm 3 Core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments, suitable for earthed system laid in duct/trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. The end termination joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and testing cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded ,galvanised steel strip armoured ,electric power cable (heavy duty ) 1100 volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 400 sqmm, 3.5 core complete with copper lugs as per rating complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as spd and directed.

Supply and fixing cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 400 sqmm,3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CPRI approved, factory made, LT panel board cubical, Outdoor type, floor mounted double door, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles, 415 Volts. The panel board shall be made of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet for load bearing members and 16 SWG (1.6 mm thick) for doors covers and internal partitions and shall be powder coated both side. Base frame of the panel shall be made of ICMC channel of size 50 x50 x 6mm, duly grouted on platform made of brick work in CM (1:2:4), 15mm thick plastering in CM (1:6) having minimum height of 600mm. The panel shall be provided with separate compartments for each switch gears with hinged door including interlocking with switch gears. The panel board shall be suitable for AC, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire supply complete with epoxy insulated 600 Amp rated higher conductivity copper busbar, supported with DMC / SMC barriers and colour coded, prewired with copper cable, the degree of protection is IP-54. the panel shall be complete with instrumentation such as LED phase indicating lamps and CT's, including extended aluminium strip/Busbar of rating of Incomer (800Amps), and outgoing as per rating of MCCB’s, including aluminium lugs to connect the cable etc.,complete all as specified and directed and comprising of the following:-
