Amount

Cutting in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for Rural Roads August, 2004 (Two Thousand Four),C-1603.1, 1603.2 (Clause - One Thousand Six Hundred Three point One, One Thousand Six Hundred Three point Two) to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by Mechanical Means all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places. in specified manner, systematically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth plying of traffic. All useful material such as stones, shingle, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side not less than 138.53 cum.(One hundred thirty eight point fifty three cubic metre) in all cases, failing which recovery at the rate of Rupees 170/= only (Rupees One hundred Seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Earth work in excavations for structure as per drawing and technical specifications clause 305.1 (Clause ThreeHundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: Four sand: Eight graded hard stone aggregate 25mm(Twenty five) millimeter)nominal size} for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and HP PWD techinical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 i/c carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying Plain /rainforced Concrete in open foundation PCC grade M-10 (M-Ten) nominal mix 1:3:6 20mm nominal mixed and vibrated in sub structure or similar works complete C- 802, 803, 1202 and 1203. all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge,

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900 mm (Nine Hundred millimeter)diameter pipe class NP-2( Non Presseure- Two), including jointing for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2(one cement: two sand) including back filling but excluding excavations, protection works, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications clause - 1106. through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge,

Stone masonary work in cement mortar in foundation random rubble masnory in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement: six sand) complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 and 1204 through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge,

Providing weepholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm (One Hundred milimeter) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 (Clause - Six hundred Fourteen, Seven hundred Nine, One thousand Two hundred Four point Three point Seven) ),including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge

Construction of unlined surface drain of average cross-sectional area 0.2 sqm in ordinary rock to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions as per approved design and Technical Specification Clause 307. Excavated material to be used in embankment at site. by mechanical means as per H.P.PWD. specsification, including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts including all incidental charges.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 in granular material and as per direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
