REPAIR MAINT OF INTERNAL EM WORKS I.E. REPAIR OF FAN, GEYSER AND SOLAR WATER HEATER IN VARIOUS OTM AND MD ACCN AND ALLIED WKS IN POCKET 1 TO 8 UNDER GE ROORKEE

Taking down existing unserviceable geysers of any make and capacity carefully and transporting to MES E/M yard, dismantling the same for inspection, taking out all unserviceable and burnt spare parts, de-scaling and cleaning of tank thoroughly with washing compound or liquid solution, transporting back and re-fixed in the original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately at S&F rates under respective item of Schedule 'A', however minor items which are not catered in this schedule, the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of the item. (ii) The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to E/M complaint cell at 8.30 Hrs on all working days to collect the complaint/Job slips and shall deposit the same after completion of the job duly signed by the users. (iii) Repair works to geysers shall be carried out at workshop in E/M yard. (v) Old unserviceable (BER) geysers requiring replacement shall be deposited to E/M storeyard.

S&F metallic fastener screw 100 mm long 6 mm dia with bolt far hanging water heater complete all as specified and directed.

S&F thermostat switch (ISI marked) 220-240 volt 0-75/80 degree without push button complete all as specified and directed.

S&F head assembly having 6/8/9 holes including rubber gasket suitable for geysers of 25/50 litres capacity complete all as specified and directed.

S&F brass safety plug (ISI marked) suitable for geysers of 25 to 50 litres capacity complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 15mm dia bore heavy duty chromium plated connection, 450 mm long with two Nos internally threaded nuts and PVC washer suitable for 15 mm bore pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 15mm dia bore heavy duty chromium plated connection, 600 mm long with two Nos internally threaded nuts and PVC washer suitable for 15 mm bore pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, Neon / indicating lamp (Red & Green) round / square in shape, suitable for geysers of 25 to 50 liters capacity including making electrical connections complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted surfaces of geyser of 25 to 50 ltrs capacity of any make/model and applying one coat of white/existing colour synthetic enamel paint with spray machine, writing MES No. in 20 mm size letters with black/white paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
