SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT TO CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN NORTH ZONE UNDER GE NORTH BINNAGURI

Taking down tarfelt with cement plaster from roof surfaces and lowering and removing the same to a distance exc. 500m and n. exc. 900m including roughening of old concrete surface of roof by wire brushing and cleaning the surface to remove all loose dust etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with WPC in order to maintain proper slope over existing roof surfaces for laying APP base polymeric membrane, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges, padding to roof etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet comprising of the following course of treatment / specified from bottom to top (a) Applying Bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces. Bituminous primer shall be 'Tar Mastic' manufactured by M/S STP LTD or 'EMW FLATE' manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd or techno commercially equivalent make as listed List of Makes and as approved by the GE. (b) Over the priming coat laying one layer APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufacturer, 3 mm thick of weight not less than 3.60 Kgs/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fabric weight not less than 160 gms per Sqm. Polymeric members shall be taken to a height of 60cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (c) Application of two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over the polymeric membrane after necessary preparation and cleaning. Note :- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturers instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm shall be made at the end and 75mm shall be made at the sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per Manufacturers instructions. (iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be "SUPER THERMOLAY" manufactured by M/S STP LTD or MOPLY FP manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd or techno commercially equivalent make as listed List of Makes and as approved by the GE.

M&L for waterproofing coating with polyurethane based water proofing liquid membrane of approved make to be applied by brush with multi coats with minimum dry film thickness of 1mm and shall be cured by reaction with atmospheric moisture to give a tough elastomeric waterproof membrane complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The above treatment will be carried out by authorised applicator of approved firm/company complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity exc 250 Ltrs and n. exc 1000 Ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in same position after cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling water tank exc 500 & n.exc 1000 ltr capacity including ball valve and removing to store complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & fixing of PVC water storage tank 500 ltr capacity HDPE multi layered, cylindrical type fixed and hoisted in position on roof at any height complete with inlet/outlet of 20 mm GI Pipe connection including locking arrangement, including supplying & fixing of Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe 20 mm dia and (Minimum weight 20 mm - 210 gms). Note : GI inlet, outlet & wash out pipe will be measured paid for separately.

Supplying & fixing of PVC water storage tank 1000 ltr capacity HDPE multi layered, cylindrical type fixed and hoisted in position on roof at any height complete with inlet/outlet of 20 mm GI Pipe connection including locking arrangement, including supplying & fixing of Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe 20 mm dia and (Minimum weight 20 mm - 210 gms ) . Note : GI inlet, outlet & wash out pipe will be measured paid for separately.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in water tank platforms, filling and mass concrete including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 20 mm dia PVC ball cock (PVC float valves) high pressure with epoxy coated aluminum rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed as required to use reducer and check nut complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down GI 15mm bore pipe and connection including cleaning for refixing or removal from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down GI 20mm steel tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 15mm bore pipe medium grade galvanised iron water tube with all fittings laid in floors fixed to wall etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing old 15mm GI tubing and connections on new or old position (walls, ceiling, floor etc) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The serviceable GI tubing obtained from taking down shall be reused.

S&F 20mm bore pipe medium grade galvanised iron water tube with all fittings laid in floors fixed to wall etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing old 20mm GI tubing and connections on new or old position (walls, ceiling, floor etc) complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The serviceable GI tubing obtained from taking down shall be reused.

Taking down cement plaster on wall of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick plaster of cement mortar (1:4) rendering on fair faces of brick work in two layers (10mm + 5mm) mixed with water proofing compound in top layer 200 ml per bag of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound conforming to relevant IS specification complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing new surfaces of walls and finishing the walls with Acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @1.67 Ltr/10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 Kg/ 10 sqm). complete all as specified and directed. Make of Weather proof exterior acrylic emulsion and primer : Asian Apex Ultima/Berger weather coat long life 10 or techno commercially equivalent make as listed in List of Makes and as approved by the GE.
