REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF LT FEEDER PILLAR BOXES, UG CABLES, EARTHING AND ALLIED ELECTRICAL WORKS AND CONVERSION OF LT OVERHEAD LINE INTO UNDER GROUND SYSTEM OF ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND CONNECTION ACCESSORIES OF ELECTRIC SUPPLY UNDER GE CLEMENT TOWN

Taking down old U/S LT Panel/Feeder Piller Box/ Busbar Chamber complete with all accessories all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note: serviceable ACB/MCCB's of any cap should be deposited in MES store yard)

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning LT Outdoor floor mounted Bus Bar box, powder coated, factory made and tested , platform mounted, suitable for 415 Volts 3 Phase and neutral, 4 wire, 50Hz AC supply system of size 1000X1000X500 MM (HXWXD) having bus bar chamber with insulated electrolytic Aluminium bus bars installed on DMC insulators . The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, protection class (IP-54) in accordance with IS-2147 and made of 3.15 mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and mild steel angle iron frame work (made out of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick and 900 mm long), front & rear opening type with aprons for cable entry, with proper ferrule & cable gland, internal wiring with PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size but not less than 1.5 sqmm complete. All steel metal works including frame shall be with anticorrosive coating with seven tank process and finally epoxy polyester powder coating of flint grey shade having instrumen chamber with RYB indicator LED lamps. The scope of work also comprising of the following:- (A) Aluminium Bus bar chamber rating : 2x250 Amps (Double bus bar), TPN, 415V (B) Incoming MCCB rating :160 Amps, 4P, 25 KA - 01 (C) Outgoing MCCBs rating :100 Amps, 4P, 25 KA - 02 Nos Note : (i) Panel wiring for control circuit with copper flexible 1.5 Sq mm & power wiring minimum 4 Sqmm flexible or as per load rating of the feeder pillar box and provision of 300x300x2mm thick danger notice board on front side of the panel doors. (ii) Complete installation with civil work and making necessary incoming and outging connection with proper cable lugs and cable glands is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the Contractor. (iii) The final height of the LT panel from the normal ground level shall be 450 mm and necessary civil work included in quoted rate.

Disconnecting electrically incomming and outgoing LT UG cable of LT panel of any size and replace burn/unsv suitable size of aluminium bus bar, Welding work for hinches and doors, fixing the locking arrangement including scraping outdoor/indoor side of LT Panel and one coat of redoxide, two coat of synthetic enamelled seimens gray spray of outdoor/Indoor side and reconnecting LT UG cable with fixing aluminium lugs by using crimping tool, nut, bolt washer etc and all necesary work required for smooth functioning of LT panel all specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) of cross sectional area 400 sqmm 3.5 Core with multistranded aluminum conductors, IS 7098 marked, suitable for LT 1100 Volt system, laid in trenches, fixed to pole, including jointing & testing including taking out old UNSV cable of any size complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work ,cable protection, sand fillings , cable joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule.

Excavation in trenches soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide in not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for shaft well, cesspits, manholes, fire hole etc n.exc 10 sqmm on plan and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-In-Charge

M&L for sand cushioning in trenches for protection of LT under ground cable including watering and consolidation.

Supply and laying , un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover ,class LV,Type I,flat,size 250mmX150mmX40mm with breaking load capacity 200 KG.
