PART A- Civil Works

SUB HEAD-1 EARTH WORK

Earth work in excavation for all type of foundations, footings, trenches, lift well etc. in all kinds of soil where pick-jumper work is not involved and not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent refilling around masonary/concrete etc. in 15cms layers with compaction/ consolidation, including disposal of all surplus soil as directed, within campus / site.

Earth filling under floors/in plinth with surplus soil excavated from foundations (as per bove) and taken only from outside the building plinth, in 15cms layers including ramming, watering and consolidating as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth filling under floors with approved earth brought from outside (any lead) and filling in 15cms layers including carriage, loading & unloading, ramming, watering and consolidating, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in plinth and under floors approved local river sand including carriage loading, unloading, spreading, watering, ramming, consolidating, etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying Anti Termite Treatment using pre constructional chemical treatment measures as per IS-6313-2001 (Part-2) & using Chemical containing chloropyrifos systemic insecticide diluted to manufacturer’s specifications i.e. 1 Ltr. of choropyrifos and 19 ltr. water:- (i)In foundation pits, by treating the bottom & sides up to height of 300mm by uniformly spraying solution @ 5 litre per sqm. (ii)In the refill earth on both sides of all built up walls @ 7.5 litre / Running meter (width -300mm, depth -450mm).(iii)Before laying the floor, by uniformly sprinkling the top surface of the consolidated earth within the outer perimeter @ 5 litre solution per sqm.

SUB HEAD-2 CENTERING AND SHUTTERING

Shuttering for faces of concrete foundations and foundation beam & plinth beam (vertical or battering). Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for RCC columns (square or rectangular or polygonal in plain). Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C -UPTO 4M

Centering and shuttering for sides and soffits of beam, beams, launching girders, bressumers, lintels. UPTO 4M

SUB HEAD-3 CONCRETE WORK

Laying plain cement concrete 1:5:10 using concrete mixture volumetric type with stone aggregate (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 stone aggregate 40mm gauge) for all types of foundations, footings, below rafts, extension columns, plinth beams/under floor etc. including spreading, laying, ramming and consolidating as per requirements and curing etc. but excluding centering and shuttering, complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Laying Reinforced cement concrete M-25 mechanically mixed using batch type concrete mixture as per IS 1791 and vibrated by needle vibrator but excluding steel reinforcement, centering and shuttering, for all types of RCC works i.e. column, footings, strips, pedestals, tie beams & plinth beams etc. as per structural drawings/ design including laying, spreading, ramming, watering, consolidating &curing etc., Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

In foundation and upto plinth level

Reinforced cement concrete M-20 mechanically batch mixed using batch type concrete mixer as per IS:1791 and vibrated by needle vibrator but excluding steel reinforcement centring and shuttering in superstructure. Upto 4m

Providing & laying inposition Trimix RCC slabon grade weigh batched, machine mixed, design mixcement concrete with vacuumde watering with floating coat of 1:1 cement mortar and power toweled toget desired smooth finishing/broom finish, overa leveling course, including providing & mixing of plasticizer (cicoorequiv) as per design mix and manufactures specifications, with pounding type curing as directed by the Engineer In Charge. Cement consumption as per specification. The suitable size of panel should be approximately 4.0x5.0 m or as directed by Engineer. The Construction joints to be for medatevery 4m distance by grooving with me chanical saw within 48hrs. Groove/sawed joints shall be made of 4mm width and 40 mm depth min (1/3rd depth of the slab thickness) as shown in the drawing and shall be filled with silicone sealant/Elastomeric Sealant/ Epoxy Sealant.The sawing operation should be carried out assoon as concrete is ready to accept the sawcut with out towelingetc as directed by Architect and Engineer-in Charge. The construction joint is formed by squareedge and painted with bitumen. The rate shall be inclusive of labour, grooves, sealant and machinery cost. Reinforcement will be paid separately.

115mm thick slab of M-25 grade+CARRIAGE- REF-24.58

Fixing/placing in position Ribbed/Tor/T.M.T. Steel Bars, for R.C.C. works, where not including in the complete rate of R.C.C. included bending, binding and placing in position as per structural design/ drawing including cost of binding wire. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Laying Damp proof course 4cm thick of cement concrete 1:2:4 with water proofing compound as per manufactures guidelines.

SUB HEAD-4 BRICK WORK

Constructing Ist Class burnt brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) including scaffolding, watering, curing etc. complete in all respects, as directed by the E-in-C.

In super structure upto 4 meters ht. above plinth level.

SUB HEAD-5 PLASTRING WORK

Providing and applying cement plaster in cement sand mortar 1:4 (1cement: 2 fine sand: 2 coarse sand) to the walls, columns etc. including providing groove, drip course, scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

a) 20mm thick

SUB HEAD-6 FLOORING AND DADOS

Providing and laying Acid/ Alkali resistant machine cut red Mandana stone 30mm to 40 mm thick in flooring over a base of 1/2" to 3/4" thick cement sand mortar 1:3 mixed with Acid/Alkali proof powder (Silica Floor) in ratio of 2 cement: 1 powder, keeping 6mm to 10mm wide joints around the stones, racking the joints 12mm to 19mm deep and filling up the same with epoxy reasin based compound including rubbing and polishing complete in all respects as directed to entire satisfaction of the E-in-C.

Fabrication Structural steel work in angles, tees, flats, riveted, including cutting, fixing all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, rivets etc. with hoisting and erecting in position.For roof truss, well curbs, plate girders etc. of any span for building for bridges upto 15M span at 8m Height

Fabrication Fixing of plain/ribbed décor roofing of .5 mm th of feb JSW steel ltd/Tata blue scope or equivalent make coated, fixed to the frame as per drawings complete in all respect at 8m height. N.S

Sub Head8- Aluminum Glazing T

P/F fabricating and Fixing in position ,side hung,/ Aluminum door, manufacture from powder coated. Alloy hollow box section of 14 gauge and of standard size. Design as per drawings,details, including hold fast/lugs,excluding glass panes and pre laminated nova pan board complete in all respect. N.S

Providing and fixing 12mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in paneling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of Engineer-In-Charge. Prelaminated particle board with decorative lamination on Both side.

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminum door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with PVC Plug/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminum snap beading shall be paid in basic item)

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters, of approved make, made of 80mmx1.25mm, M.S. Laths, interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together, at the end, by end locks, mounted on specially designed pipe shaft, with brackets, side guides, 27.5cm long wire spring grade No. 2 and arrangement for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete, including top cover 0.80mm thick (payment is to be made for the exact size of opening where rolling shutter is to be fixed)

Providing, laying in trenches to correct gradient and alignment and jointing of UPVC pipes having ISI specification IS:15328-2003 class-SN-8 marked make Supreme, Finolex, Kissan, Jain, Prince or equivalent good on them and laying the same in trenches to correct alignment and gradients, cutting and jointing, testing for water tightness and making good the leakages and defects including cost of specials (Specials and Solvent should be of same make as that of pipes) complete in all respects.

160mm o/d pipe

Construction of brick masonry inspection chambers size as given below upto 0.60 metre average depth in 1:5 cement sand mortar, C.C.1:4:8 ( 150mm thick) in foundation, cement concrete 1:2:4 benching 12.50mm thick cement plaster 1:2 with a floating coat of 1mm thick of neat cement, R.C.C. 1:2:4 slabs 100mm thick cement concrete topping 50mm thick with 455mm x 455mm, 455mm x 610mm inside R.C.C. inspection chamber cover and frame (Weight as per I.S.I specifications) painted with 3 coats of black bitumastic paint conforming to I.S.I complete as per standard design.

Constructing brick masonry manhole in cement mortar 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 coarse sand ) R.C.C. top slab 20cm thick using M-20 mix by using mixer and vibrator, TMT Fe500 @ 80.00 kg/per cum, foundation concrete 1:4:8 mix (1 cement: 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) inside plastering 12mm thick with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with floating coat of neat cement and making 40mm thick benching in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, Orange coloured PVC steps including RCC cover with frame complete as per standard design complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes single socketed (working pressure 2.5 kgf / cm²) conforming to IS:4985, including fixing with MS clamps.U-PVC pipes (working pressure 2.5 kgf. / sqcm) pipe 110 mm dia.

Providing and fixing 110 mm dia. U.P.V.C bend for Rain water pipe as per IS:14735 including jointing complete as per specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- charge.UPVC 110 mm bend

Providing and fixing in position S.S. Amul trap of self (standard design) , confirming to IS specification of reputed firm ( to be got approved before arranging) including cement concrete 1:2:4 under and around the amul trap whereever required upto floor level including cutting and making good the wall and floor etc. complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C
