DEMAND FOR JOB WORK :

1. Taking Trial bore of 100mm in soft silty/ clayey strata and of NX size in highly weathered/ Rock strata expect in Granite & Quartzite Rock For 6m/ BH x 1 Borehole = 6m I) Field and Laboratory Testing: For Soil:- (a) Conducting Standard Penetration Test (SPT) at every 1.5 mtr. Interval in granular strata or collecting undisturbed sample (UDS) at every 1.5 mtr. Interval for clayey strata in lieu of SPT. (b) Collecting Disturbed soil sample (DS) and water sample at site. (c) Carrying out laboratory Tests:- (i) Grain size analysis (GSA) (ii) Atterberg Limits (iii) Free Swell Index (iv) Natural moisture content (v) UU- Triaxial shear test/ UU- Direct shear test (as per soil type) (vi) Consolidation test (Above laboratory test will be conducted as per strata encountered & type of soil samples collected from bores.) For Rock: Carrying out Laboratory Tests on rock core samples at every 1.50m depth if rock encounter in drilling including determining core recovery , rock quality designation (RQD) with preparation of samples (cutting/ grinding & facing), water absorption, specific gravity & unconfined compressive strength tests. Report:- Report in detail alongwith detailed Bore log report, calculations of allowable bearing capacity (SBC) at depth of 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m as per BIS code, discussion & recommendations. 2. Mobilization: Mobilization & demobilization of drilling machine, local shifting of machine, field-testing equipment’s and Manpower.
