CERTAIN REPAIRS TO HARDSTANDING, PARADE GROUND, FOOTPATHS, KERB STONES, DRAINS AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT NAVAL BASE

Demolition of stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar incl coping etc all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for walling of Porbandar stone masonry squared rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified .

Ditto all as per item No 2.00 above but except stone (stone obtained from item No 01).

Demolition of concrete surfaces in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete to be laid in required slope complete all as specified.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 60 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred / stopped ends etc

M&L plain cement concrete type B1 ( 1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills,steps; seismic and other similar band, copings, bed plates, and like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed complete, including necessary formwork complete all as specified.

Taking down cement plaster from stone masonry surface incl raking out joints hacking for key and scrubbing down with water complete all as specified.

M&L for rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on stone masonry surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes 600mm, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required

Reinforced cement concrete pipes 600mm, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars

Cutting of bituminous/RCC road and sub-base WBM (any thickness) for laying of RCC drain etc complete

Demolition of precast concrete cover slab over drains, manholes, similar structures etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab set in CM 1:6 all as specified.

M&L CRS reinforcement bars 6 to 8mm dia cut to length bent to shape as required including cranking bending spirally for hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed not less than 0.9mm dia or securig with clips etc complete.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise described for of any description.

S &F Framed work as in gratings of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete Fe 410-W (Gde E-250) quality A

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth of any description and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer

Dismantling stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18-20mm thick black granite stone slab machine cut in skirting/dado, cooking platform, jams, pillars, windows cills and the like laid over and including 10mm thick screed bed or backing coat in cement mortar (1:4) and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement and with admixture or pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing complete all as specified & directed.

M/L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders of guage n exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick and watered and rolled/rammed to true surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 Type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub bases all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for chequered cement concrete tiles fixed with grey cement & pigment of size 25cm X 25cm X 20-22mm thick set jointed with screed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in CM 1:6 and pointed in neat cement slurry all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for even spreading of 25mm thick layer of sand cushioning incl watering & consolidation all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for machine pressed precast concrete inter locking paver blocks any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever reqd complete.

M&L for preparation of new concrete surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.
