SCHEDULE "A" PART - XVI [MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS]
M&L for Reinforced Ready Mixed Cement Concrete M–40 Design Mix with admixture Conplast SP-435 A2 or Auramix 400 or equivalent, as in Piles, including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000, max size of aggregate shall not exceed 20mm and the slump shall be 150 to 180mm. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include interalia for preliminary design mix, works test cubes as specified. (iv) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/ Cu.m. of concrete for M40 (Piles) using PSC with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) (v) Admixture shall be added as per manufacturer instructions. The rate for Admixture shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) The unit rate shall be deemed to include for carrying out non-destructive integrity test for 100% of the total number of piles as per IS 14893-2001 shall be done by Govt Engineering College / NIT/IIT in the presence of contractor and the test results shall be vetted by the same authorities. Cost of testing is included in the quoted rates.
(vii) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given above, no extra payment will be made, if cement content is decreased beyond minimum content, necessary minimum DO shall be initiated. (viii) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used. (ix) Pile shall be casted as mentioned in drawings. However, for payment purpose the length of pile shall be measured up to cut off level only. The unit rate/Lumpsum price quoted shall be deemed to include this aspect. (x) Core sample testing shall be carried out as directed GE upto 5% of piles.
M&L for Drilling or boring for 800mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks/rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials outside MD land as directed, ccomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per Serial Item No. 17 here in before but for 800mm nominal dia through hard rock for founding depth minimum 2D (Where D is dia of pile), complete. Notes for Item Nos. 17 & 18:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground level to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE to contractor at his own cost. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in SSR Part-I specification. (vi) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required.
Carrying out initial load tests on test pile of 800mm dia as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and as directed by GE and submission of reports for test load of 775 Ton in non-working areas in the vicinity of site, including the cost of new piles with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 2D (Where D is dia of pile) depth, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Load rquired for testing as per IS shall be arranged by the contractor and test pile shall be abondoned after testing.
Carrying out routine load test on 800mm dia pile (working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) by static load test method with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. and submission of reports for test load of 465 Ton, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Removing demolished building materials etc. to a distance of 8 to 10km including loading , unloading and stacking at the destination, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Point wiring with 1.5 Sq.mm (nominal cross sectional area) FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed copper conductor cable, single core multi stranded 1100Volt grade confirming to IS 694: 1977, drawn in and including rigid PVC conduit not less than 20mm bore, concealed type, medium grade as per IS 9537 (Part 1-1983) with conduit accessories, junction boxes, tees, terminal boxes with and including factory made MS boxes, modular cover plates with frame for mounting modular switches, including one run of 1.5 Sq.mm single core FRLS PVC unsheathed copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly, for one light/ bell/ fan/ exhaust fan/ wall mounted fan/ socket controlled by one 1-way switch, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cutting chases and making good surfaces shall be included in the unit rate.

Item No. 36 (Contd……) D) OUTDOOR ENCLOSURE Outdoor type enclosure having construction of Galvanised Sheet Steel having 1.5mm thickness for Non-load bearing & 2 mm for Load bearing partition sheets & Door with HRCA 4 mm base frame. The Enclosure shall have IP54 degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment & IP34 degree of protection for Transformer compartment. The enclosure exterior shall be Powder Coated (RAL 7032 ). Each compartment will be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement.
