Annual Maintenance Contract to the following Diesel Generator (DG) Sets under single point service contract, i.e., Engine and Alternator, for a period of Three (03) years 2026-27 TO 2028-29.

AMC Charges for 1st year towards servicing and maintenance.

AMC Charges for 2nd year towards servicing and maintenance.

AMC Charges for 3rd year towards servicing and maintenance.

Supply and fixing of 12V 180AH Lead Acid Exide Battery XP-1800 / equivalent for DG set with 3 years warranty including wire leads, connections etc., complete.

Scope of work: 1. Routine, periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of DG sets as per manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure reliable operation during the AMC period. 2. Periodical servicing of DG sets, including inspection of engine, alternator, control panel, batteries, exhaust system, cooling system, and associated accessories. 3. Checking and cleaning of air, fuel, and oil system components, including filters and pipelines, for proper functioning and leakage. 4. Checking of V-belts, hoses, pipes, clamps, fasteners, and mountings, and tightening / adjustment wherever required.

5. External cleaning of radiator and checking of cooling system; cleaning of cylinder head and liner fins in case of air-cooled engines. 6. Checking of exhaust system, silencers, flexible joints, and supports. 7. Checking, cleaning, and maintenance of batteries, including terminal cleaning, application of petroleum jelly, and checking electrolyte level. 8. Checking of alternator and control panel, including meters, indicators, MCCBs, contactors, wiring connections, and earthing. 9. Running the DG set and recording operating parameters, such as voltage, frequency, current, and load conditions.

10. Advising the department on abnormalities, abnormal load pattern, unbalanced loading, or preventive measures required to improve efficiency and life of the DG set. 11. Educating operators on day-to-day operation, safety practices, and maintenance, including proper upkeep of DG log books. 12. Submission of service reports after each maintenance visit to the concerned section.

Terms & Conditions: 1. The service representative shall attend up to 12 routine service calls per DG engine per year. 2. During service visits, the service engineer shall carry out minor adjustments and minor repairs. Required spares shall be supplied by the department. 3. The service performance shall be reviewed annually (every 12 months) from the date of agreement. 4. Payment shall be made monthly / quarterly, as decided by the department, on satisfactory completion of services. 5. In case of emergency breakdown calls, the service engineer shall attend the site as per the scope of this agreement.

NOTE: 1. Service reports shall be submitted to the concerned Section Officer / AE (Elec) / DE (Elec) immediately after completion of each visit.
