DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Maintenance and complete servicing/overhauling of existing DG Set of capacity 4.8 KW/6 KVA including replacement of filters,di -assembling of operating mechanism / parts, well cleaning with chemicals, replacing unserviceable parts / assessories, oiling / greasing of complete moving parts, calibration and resetting of governer by the rep of reputed manufacturer, cleaning of injector nozzle, cleaning/descaling of radiator assembly with cleaning agent, removal of all deposited materials including oiling / greasing of exhaust fan & bearing etc. including re - assembling the DG set after replacing the unserviceable parts and components etc. and making DG Set in perfect operational in manual and electrical mode, complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Spare parts will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch 'A'. (ii) Make of parts shall be same as per existing make (iii) The contractor and rep of Engineer-in-charge shall prepare jointly a list of unserviceable parts after opening the DG Set.

Dismantling of MH / LED/ T-5 light fittings of any capacity from existing poles / buildings of any height/type including re-fixing after repair/replacment of unserviceable parts such as LED drivers,LED modules T-5 tubes, chokes etc and making the fitting functional by replacing minor parts such as nuts,bolts PVC connector complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) Parts shall be measured & paid separately as given here-in-after. (b) Contractor shall attend complain with-in 24 hrs in case non attending by the contractor the recovery shall be made @ Rs 50 per complain per day . (c) Contractor shall provide all tools and plants and minor spares such as Ladder minor nuts bolts, jumper wire, insulation taps etc required for doing the job related with electric supply including mobile phones for communication and will be fully responsible for safety and security of their man. ( d) Job cards will be provided by the contractor. (e) To make clear the shortened and current leakage of shortend electric street light line is also included in the quoted rate.

Note :- CA No & date of installations shall be painted/marked on all timer switch provided by the contractor.

S&F 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable one twin core, flat or circular 6 Sqmm PVC insulated aluminium stranded conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tapes and overall PVC sheathed in service connection from pole to Main Switch complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable Old LT cable any type and size from trenches or fixed on poles or through pipes/walls/laid under roads/paths/ drains/culverts complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of LT/street light pole complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels/ brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making Red & white strips with synthetic enamelled paint of 30 cm height, each alternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint and applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified. Note : Pole serial no. will be as approved by GE/Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2,using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation of stays and coping of poles including necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces including broken of existing PCC all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation for electric poles and making of cable duct including necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces all as specified & directed.

Dismantling of LT PCC/steel tubular pole of any size and discription incl coping, foundation etc and shifting to E/M yard.

Supply and erection, in truly vertical position, LT Steel tublar swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug, bolt , nut and screwed type 410 SP 31 09 mtrs long Class -10 including painting of poles with two coats of synthatic enamel paint in black and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping over a coat of red oxide primer including numbering of poles as directed by Engineer in charge. Note : PCC, Earth work and MS work as cross arms clamps etc will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, fabricating and fixing, cross arms (any type) supports, bracting, stiffness etc made out of MS channel, angle iron , flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint as well as dismantling of existing all as directed

Supplying, drawing and fixing in replacement of contineous GI earth wire/gaurd/cradles of 4mm dia including GI binding wire 1.63 mm and GI holding hook on HT/LT poles incl taking down old rusted GI wire all as specified and directed

M&L for earthing in replacement complete with galvanised or steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically ( to a depth not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to strip 32x 6 mm size with nuts, bolts , check nuts , washers, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick all around, top & bottom watering pipe 20mm bore of GI medium grade with funnel and wiremesh all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR -1991 Part I and connecting to arthing test point,main switch board and testing on completion including PCC chamber concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover 75mm thick with MS TMT bar 8mm dia @ 150mm c/c both ways in cement concrete(1:2:4) type B-1 all asshown in electrical plate in No 5 of SSR(Pt-I)1991 complete all as specified and dirfected.

Supply and fixing in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick, MS sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figuers and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out of flat iron 25x3 mm, nuts-bolts, of approved size for LT 20 x 15 cm.

Supply and fixing in repair of PVC LT OH line spacer for 5 wires complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair for factory fabricated bus bar chamber outdoor type water vermin proof of size 600x400x250 mm duly provided with front openable door and PU(Polyurethene + Isocyanides) formed Gaskets with IP-66 protection rubber gasket housed with TPN aluminium bus bar on porcelain insulated with the bus bar size of 350x40x5 mm for phases and neutral incl making connections, cable entry/exit holes with front door locking arrangements and busbar panel shall be pedestal type and provided with four nos of angle iron supports duly embedded in foundation and complete bus bar chamber shall be CRCA type powder coated.

Lopping / prooning of tree branches upto the extend to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor upto 3 mtr from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a). The trees branches etc will be left as it is and will not be carried away by the contractor / DEL as the wood belongs to CEO / DEO and they will be responsible to lift the wood. (b). Prooning of all tree branches in one tree shall be measured as one Job. c). Contractor will employ sufficient labour to complete the job with in time as directed. (d). Contractor will be responsible for any type of mis-happening / accident while prooning the trees. (e). Contractor supervisor will take proper shut down from MES installation before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply . However full assistance will be provided by MES staff. (f). The contractor will provide proper tools and safety devices to his staff for prooning of trees.

Material and Labour in replacement of existing water level indicator of overhead tanks & underground sumps by replacing the defective parts such as MS pully with bearing, steelwire rope of required length, float ball duly painted and graduation board (welding work or changing of sheet as reqd on site) including painting and numbering etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for cleaning (taking out mud, grass & bushes etc) of ponds near main source complete all as directed .

Material and Labour for cleaning of 2000 Gallons capacity RCC ground water tank/ clarifying cum sedimentation tank, flow water tank pumping out all water, taking out dirty water stone pieces and sludge etc by usnig buckets / motor, cleaning and removing all dirt and plant completely from wall and floor of the tank and from mouths of inlet and outlet pipes etc and by rubbing with wire brushes and removing all waste to distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed cleaning the tank inner surface with suitable cleaning agent and fresh water and removing dirty water out of the tank complete with in 12 Hrs and writing date of cleaning on external surface of wall with synthetic enamel paint after removing old date complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of blockage of EWC/ IWC trap exc 100 mm but n.exc 150mm dia and disposal of waste material to a ditance n.exc 50m from outer face of bldg complete all as directed

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding, kota stone/granite slab including screed bed and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non-skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm but n exc 0.11 sqm set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match as in floor over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 mixed etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for galzed ceramic coloured tiles 300X200X 7 mm thick on walls etc set & jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surfaces over &.incl 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 for laying wall tiles etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails strain- ing bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.
