REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DI WATER SUPPLY LINES, VALVES AND OTHER MISC WORKS FROM NUGAL KHAD TO A TANK PALAMPUR MIL STN UNDER GE PALAMPUR

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil, for removing/laying pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, taking up CI/DI water main 200 mm bore including all fittings with spigot and socket ends / flanged ends including taking out lead joints and rubber joints from trenches/floor, removing the pipe from site complete all as specified. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately wherever reqd at site.

Dismantling and taking down unserviceable cast iron sluice valve 200 mm bore, including jointing material and removing from site, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L ductile iron pipe (Conforming to IS: 8329) with spigot and socket ends/flanged ends 200 mm bore class K-9 suitable for tyton joint including jointing material/ joints laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

M&L CI/DI fittings any type such as bends (any type radious and angles), reducers ,Tees, 'Y' pieces, collars caps, plugs and straight connecting pieces 200 mm to 300 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Cast iron sluice valve long body type, both ends flanged and drilled, of size 200 mm bore, (ISI marked) conforming to IS-14846-2000 with pressure rating of PN-1.6 with steel spindle and iron wheel head including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gasket etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L run lead joints for cast iron spigot and socket pipe (water main) and fittings including burning of old lead joint for 200 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L rubber gasket joint for DI/CI spigot & socket pipe (water main) of size 200 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of existing brick masonry valve pit of any size and type and stacking serviceable materials for issue to contractor on credit and removal of unserviceble materials from site complete all as specified and direcrted.

M&L brick masonry valve pit of size 120cm x 120cm x 120cm (Internal dimensions of chamber) built in Cement Mortar 1:6, Plain cement concrete, M-10 (Nominal mix) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concreting and including 15mm thick plastering internally with cement mortar 1:6 and flush pointing externally as the work proceeds in same mortar and Plain cement concrete, M-15 (Nominal mix), type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping complete. 3.15 mm thick MS sheet cover, handle, locking arrangement including provision of angle iron frame 40x40x6 mm for cover and 2 foot steps made out of MS 16 mm dia round bars, wash out pipe made out of GI pipe medium grade, 50 mm dia upto 1 metre length, earth work in any type of soil including removal to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and painting steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L walling of random rubble stone masonry uncoarsed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6 using best local stone completed all as specified and directed.

M&L plain cement concrete, M-15 (Nominal mix), type B-2 (1:2:4), (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete completed all as specified and directed.

M&L cement plaster in cement mortar (1:4) 15mm thick on fair faces of stone masonry or concrete surface finished even & smooth using extra cement completed all as specified and directed.

S&F mechanical joint suitable for 200 mm bore CI/DI/GI pipe lines with all its fittings as required for jointing the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed.

All as per the description of Serial item No 16 here-in before but for of size 250mm bore comlete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix MS cover made out of 3mm thick sheet and frame of angle iron (50mm x 50mm x 6mm) with hook, hold fast, hinge etc. and painting it with one coat of black paint suitable for valve pit size 120cm x 120cm x120cm including taking out old unserviceable MS cover of any type and size obtained at site complete all as specified and directed

M&L pig lead suitable for arresting leakages in CI/GI pipe line coplete all as specified and direcrted. Note:- Necessary excavation and eatth work wherever required shall be measured and paid separately.
