Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27-07-2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

The royalty charges will be recovered as per the govt. Orders issued from time to time

Conditional tenders liable for rejection.

Financial Year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty first day of March of succeeding year (both days inclusive).

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of construction materials, work men, land required for construction activities, etc.

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good

Any change / extensions, etc in the tender schedule (calendar of events) will not be published / advertised through news papers changes will be updated on/in e-procurement portal only

The intending bidders should note that, if any of lands either in part/ parts or in whole required for the work is not acquired by the Nigam, it shall be the responsibility of the bidder to take the possession of such land and start the work by obtaining consent of the land owners before commencement of work at no extra cost to the Nigam and no claim / delays whatsoever relating to on account of non-availability of land would be entertained

If the percentage quoted by the contractor for the work is below ninety percent of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender of the department, then the contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted percentage and 90% of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender. In case of contractor quotation rates above 125% of the estimated rates then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of the entire cost of the work as per the agreement. If BG submitted while issuing fresh BG or extending any existing BG claim period of a minimum one year from date of expiry of validity period of BG is to specified invariably.

Typographical errors, if any, will not be the ground for any claims by the Bidder/ Firm/ Company.

Amount put to the tender is exclusive of GST. GST will be paid at applicable rates at the time of payment of RA Bills. The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor is responsible. Hence, the contractor should quote the rates excluding GST

The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever

The time stipulated for completion of work is 3 Excluding irrigation period calendar months.

The defect liability period for the work is 12 (Twelve) calendar months.

Constitution or legal status of Tenderer : Bidder should upload valid KPWD Class - IV and above Registration Certificate

Bidder should upload Valid Employees Provident Fund Registration Certificate with Paid challan up to August-2026

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2: Instructions to Tenderers (ITT), will only be considered for evaluation.

The tenderer shall furnish required information in all formats. Scan and upload all Formats/Original documents required for this bid to the e-procurement portal. The Original Formats/Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of l Bid for physical verification.

Financial turnover preivious years, and existing commitments / on going works shall be given a weightage of 10 % per year to bring them to the price level of the 2025-26.
