M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing stacking and deposing off, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or Basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
All as serial item No. 3 as above but except material, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Stone aggregate obtained from item No. 2 shall be used
M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (SS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any pernetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.
M&L for repairs to pot holes, depth of not exc 30 mm, area not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scooring sunken surfaces in roads, paths ec cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat by cationic bitumen (RS-1) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen VG - 30 grade by weight of total mix rolled and compacted mixed in mechanical hot mix plantand premixed plant and premixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required compaction, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for Preparing of black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with machenical air air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying enenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of .20 - .30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge
M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009) and, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note : (a) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but vartiation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contrator shall quote accordingly.
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required including demolition of existing ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters , zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicatior).
S&F in repair of solar stud 125x125x25mm made out of aluminium alloy 100% water proof design according to IP67 requirements in accordance to IS 12063:1987, flash rate not less than 1HZ, bearable weight 10 Tons with the following specification and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge. (a) Solar Power monocrystal solar panel. (b) Type of battery one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable. (c) View distance: Approximately 1000 mtrs. (d) LEDs-01 mm 3 peices each side and total 6 pieces are used high brightness of different colours back up 72 hours of continous at nights. (e) Red colour.
S&F in repairs cat eye of size (100x100x18-20mm) ABS moulded body with polycarbonate, micro prismatic reflectors, scratch and abrasion resistant, temperature resistant and ultrasonically welded on moulded ABS body of approved colour Red , White and Yellow, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L preparation of new surfaces of kerb stone and applying two coats of exteror acrylic emulsion paint over a coat of primer on kerb stone surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
