REPAIR TO BOUNDARY WALL / COMPOUND WALL, DRAIN, CULVERT FENCING, GATE, PATH, HARD STANDING AND REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE LINE, MH, SEPTIC TANK AND SOAK PIT ETC AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS OF ZONE I AND IV UNDER AGE B/R - II AT GE (W) BAREILLY.

Amount

M & L for cleaning / function of existing sewage system consisting of SGSW pipes, RCC hume pipes, CI pipes and PVC pipes of any dia at any depth, manholes of different sizes and depth of different size and capacity, waste and vent pipes fixed on walls, nahani / floor trap inside the bldgs and gully trap outsides the bldgs etc. including removal of all blockage in the system, dewatering and desludging manholes by using honey sucking machine / mechanical sewage suction pump and removal of sludge in covered vehicles outside the MD land all as specified and directed. NOTE- The unit rate as quoted shall deemed to inclusive of the followings aspacts: -

(i) Contractor has to engage minimum four safaiwala and one supervisor with mobile phones having no photo facility. The team must be reported in the complaint cell / sub div in proper uniform and with all necessary T&P such as green female bamboo strips, iron rods, sewage rodding machine, buckets, rope, ladder, safety mask, etc for execution of the item. The quoted rate shall also be included the cost of conveyance of workers, supervisors, materials and T&P.

(ii) Team of workers with T&P shall be attanded the complaints of the entire area as directed by Engineer-in-charge and the completion of work shall be reported by 05:00 PM of every working day.

(iii) Contractor or his representative shall report daily at 08:30 AM in the office of Engineer-in-charge / complaint cell to receive complaint slips and necessary directions. Complaints received from JE / Engineer-in-charge through telephone message shall also be attended on the same day.

(iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by Engineer-in-charge at sub division / complaint cell. In case of absence of workers a penal recovery of Rs. 500 per day for per worker shall be imposed on contractor.

(v) A complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of compliants received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and shall be signed daily by both the parties. Complaint register shall be kept on record of Engineer-in-Charge after completion of work.

(vi) Complaints of blockage of sewage line / manhole / nahani trap if an attended within 24 hours after issuance of compliant slips or telephonic direction, failing which a penalty of Rs 300/- per complaint shall be imposed on contractor.

(vii) GE / Engineer-in-charge will have no liability to give permanency of the employment of workers. A certificate in this regard will be rendered by contractor prior to the commencement of the work.

(viii) Payment to the workers shall be properly receipted. A certificate shall be produced by the contractor that the every employee engaged by him have been paid their wages in full.

(ix) Contractor will not permitted to engage child labour in the work.

(x) Contractor shall provide uniform with name plate as approved by Engineer-in-charge to the workers.

(xi) Supervisor shall be obtained necessary directions from JE / Engineer-in-charge and supervise the workers.

(xii) Each worker shall be submitted affidavit in stamp paper duly notary that he will not claim employment from department.

(xiii) Contractor shall submit accident / risk insurance policy of each worker engaged in cleaning sewage system.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes, cesspits, shafts etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exc. 15 cm deep as in soft / loose soil including cleaning of bushes, shrubs and the like complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for spraying of weed remover Herbiside Round Up chemical to burn the vegitation as per manufacturer instructions and removing the waste to a distance not exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

Pumping out of water, liquid, sludge, any other waste materials stagnated from septic tank, soak wells any type and size and discharge the same to nallah / drains through hose pipe upto a distance of 250 m complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of septic tank, manholes of any depth, area, condition including taking out all the stagnated sludge or any other material mixed with the sludge etc. and dispose of the same upto a distance exc. 200 m but not exc. 500 m complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 100 mm bore (salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 150 mm bore (salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 200 mm bore (salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm bore salt glazed stoneware drain pipes grade ‘A’ laid in trenches and jointed in cement sand mortar 1:1 with spun yarn with and including M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of 150 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe class NP-2 laid, jointed with collars in neat cement slurry with and including M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of 200 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe class NP-2 laid, jointed with collars in neat cement slurry with and including M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting into existing manhole for connecting new drain, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (½ round or ¾ section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for 100 to 200 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete, type D-2, 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4, (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), as in surface, benching of manhole and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 including mixing of water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - WATER PROOFING COMPOUND SHALL BE MEASURED AND PAID SEPARATELY AS SUPPLY ONLY.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (Powder) complete all as specified.

M & L for providing pre-cast cement concrete landing, cover slabs, chullah hoods, chajjas, shelves and similar items any size as required, with plain faces in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick cement plaster on other than fair faces of brick work or stone masonry surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 (As in patches not exc. 3.00 Sqm each patch) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered or previously untreated wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of post or strut embedded in concrete (wood, steel or RCC), any section including taking out embedded portion and making good the disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for use and waste of form work to sides of concrete foundation, footing, bases of columns, raft & raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beam and similar works in rough finished flat surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus / excess earth or waste material already dumped at site including necessary excavation work, to a distance exc. 50 m but not exc. 250 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) any description and laid in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 60 mm thick, M-35 grade rubber moulded machine pressed factory made coloured glazed precast concrete interlocking paver block confirming to IS 15658-2006 with grey cement and pigment in any shape and size, laid dry over and including 25 mm thick sand filling complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 80 mm thick, M-40 grade rubber moulded machine pressed factory made coloured glazed precast concrete interlocking paver block confirming to IS 15658-2006 with grey cement and pigment in any shape and size, laid dry over and including 25 mm thick sand filling complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing machine pressed precast cement concrete kerb stone blocks of any size as approved by GE made of PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with and including necessary excavation, earth work and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for coloured glazed chequered cement concrete tiles of size 300 X 300 X 25 mm thick with grey cement and pigment set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface of tile as in floor over and including 25 mm thick cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub floor of floor finishes, finished even and rough and 20 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6 for laying floor finishes finished even and rough complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES:- (a) Material not included in schedule of credit and debris from the dismantling having lowest value / Nil value shall be the property of department. The same shall be removed / disposed or deposited by the contractor in MES stores yard of GE (West) Bareilly as directed for which no additional payment shall be made. The contracotor shall be fully responsible to safe guard these materials against loss / theft / deterioration etc. till the same to be deposited by him in MES Store yard. (b) The contractor or his authorized representative shall attend office of AGE B/R for collection of complaints raised by user on regular basis and same has to be rectified / completed on requirement basis. If the contractors unable to rectify the complaints within stipulated time of 7 days (Maximum), penalty will be imposed to the contractor at the rate of Rs 500.00 per day for each complaint. (c) The above aspects shall be borne in mind by the tenderer while quoting the rates. The rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include the above aspects. (d) Tenderers may note that amount as given in schedule of credit will be deducted from the total amount to worked out the net contract sum at the time of Acceptance of tender.
