OD189305/2024-2025:Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of KWA pre-qualified reputed make Multi-stage Centrifugal pump set with the following specification with suitable type of base plate with coupling, coupling guard, foundation bolts and nuts etc. complete including providing suitable concrete foundation including cost of material etc. complete. 1.Pump - Supply Erection Testing and Commissioning of KWA prequalified reputed make Horizontal Multi-stage (minimum 2 stage) CF pump set with Bronze/SS- CF 8M impeller, SS shaft and CI pump casing with pump manufacturer-supplied (OEM) Base plate with pin and bush coupling, coupling guards foundation bolts and nuts etc complete suitable for coupling the pump and motor and above the base plate etc. complete including providing suitable concrete foundation. etc complete. The duty condition is as follows. Discharge -81 lps. Total head -145m (Suction Negative),1450rpm. Pump efficiency shall be at least 75%. 2. Motor- Supply erection testing and commissioning of KWA prequalified reputed make, solid shaft foot mounted TEFC Squirrel cage Induction motor suitable for the above pump, working 3 phase 50Hz AC supply, working voltage 440 volts, 1450rpm. The motor shall conform to IS 325, IE3 standard including providing a suitable concrete foundation, including the cost of cement, sand and metal etc complete . 3.Starter- Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of FCMA Soft starter having main Contactor 550A, Bypass Contactor 400A and trial running of pumpsets etc as directed. Starter suitable for the above motor with over voltage and under-voltage protection, single phase preventor, Overcurrent, Under current, Current unbalancing, locked Rotor, Earth Fault protection with motor protection relay. The Soft Starter should be KWA approved make. 4. Panel board - Supply , erection, testing and commissioning of cubicle-type wall-mounted MS fabricated dust and vermin-proof common control panel board consisting of 1 No. 630A 36ka 3 pole MCCB as incomer and 2 No of 630A 36ka 3 pole MCCB as outgoing providing a suitable size Aluminium bus bar to interconnect the above MCCBs and fitted with 3 Nos of indicator lamps,1 no. volt meter with selector switch ,1 no. Ammeter with selector switch for measuring current in each phase etc. complete and provided with a common earth bus for the entire panel and interconnect with the MCCBs as per IE rules and code of practice. The panel shall be fitted on a common base frame on suitable foundation. 5. Cabling work - Supply, laying testing and commissioning of 300sq.mm x 2 R XLPE Aluminium cables from Starter to MSB and 95sq.mm 6 R flexible copper cable from Starter to Motor considering energy conservation. 6. Earthing - Supply of all materials and providing suitable earthing by using suitable size pipe /plate earthing GI/copper strip buried in ground and giving double earthing to motor, starter, panel board etc. as per IE standards. 7. Capacitor - Supply, erection testing and commissioning of a heavy-duty APP capacitor for the motor to get a power factor above 0.95. Capacitor should be connected to the external AC5 contactor, and the capacitor shall conform to IS 2834 8. Valves and Pressure Gauges -Supply, Erection, and Commissioning of Suitable-sized, Best-quality, Heavy-duty, IS-standard DI Double-Flanged Sluice Valve, Non-Return Valve, and Fluid-filled Pressure Gauges with Suitable Pressure Rating with control valve. Fitting of all valves shall include proper RCC support. 9. Delivery and Suction pipe connection- Supply and fitting of these pipes with next higher size of Pump nozzle made with best-quality MS pipe of shell thickness not less than 10 mm for a total of 10 m length, with suitable flanges, nuts and bolts, IR sheet, etc., complete and connecting the delivery side of the pump with the valves and suitable specials to connect the pumping main as per the KSEB and KSEI specifications and standards. (All items required for the commissioning should be supplied and erected/fixed and obtain initial and final approval from KSEI and got energized from KSEB). The materials of the pump should conform to the relevant IS and the pump to be supplied should be strictly according to the relevant IE specifications. and a Kerala Water Authority-approved manufacturer. 4-year extended warranty beyond the original warranty period of 1 Year to be provided for the whole system. Total shall be limited to 5 years. (Rate vide proceedings no. 10636/AE 15/2022/KWA dtd. 29.03.2023 of the CE ).(The actual head of the pump is to be arrived by the contractor).
