CONSTRUCTION WORK OF GIRLS HOSTEL BOUNDARY WALL AT GOVT. POLYTECHNIC NARAINI PADUI IN DIST. BANDA

Earth work in exacavation in foundation in ordinary soil including lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 30m. and dressing of sides and ramming of bottom and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer i/c with in a lead of 30 m.

Providing and laying in cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 fine sand : 8 brick aggregate 40 mm nominal size) and curing complete, including cost of form-work, in foundation and floors.

R.C.C. work with cement approved coarse sand and 2 cm (3/4") gauge approved stone ballast in the proportion 1:1.5:3 (1 cement :1.5 coarse sand : 3 aggregates) , in beam excluding supply of reinforcement and its bending the same with 24 WG binding wire and necessary centring and shuttering etc and also including supply of all materials labour and tools and plants etc. required for proper completion of the works. Strength of the concrete shall not be less than with M-20 concrete nominal mix

Strength of the concrete shall not be less than with M-20 concrete nominal mix FOR TOP BAND

Mild steel or iron in plain work such as reinforced concrete or reinforced, brick work (when not included in an over all rates ) wrought to required shape as necessary including bending for proper completion of the work and including supply of steel its wastage bend hooks and authorised over lapping shall be measured upto floor two level.

Class 150 brick work in 1:6 cement and coarse sand in foundation and plinth including supply of all materials, labour and tools and plants etc.required for proper completion of the work.

Same as in item no. 4.1 above but in super-structure including necessary cutting and moulding of brick work as required and also including honey combed brick work in thickness of wall one brick thick. 1:6

External Plastering 15mm thick plaster with cement mortar in proportion of 1:6 cement & coarse sand of 1.5-2.00 FM for external walls Chapter 13 S.No 10 PWD 586

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade as per direction of E/I

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length (total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq. mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete. ( 0.50+0.50+0.20)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture (Steel surface)
