REPAIR/RE-WINDING OF TRANSFORMERS AND IMPROVEMENT TO HT SYSTEM AND CONNECTED ALLIED WORKS UNDER AOR GE SAMBA

Inspection of defective step down 11 KV / 0.433 upto 400 KVA transformer any make, plinth/floor/pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type, step opening, removing the top cover of transformer, detecting the fault, rectfying the defect at site (Samba, Dayalachak & Galak) except major fault of burnt winding or other. The following tasks if required will be performed :- (a) Step opening of the transformer and removing the transformer top cover for checking/rectified the faults of the transformer. (b) Replacement of defective HT/LT bushes, brass spindles etc. (c) Refixing the transformer top cover with nuts, bolts and washers. (d) Testing of transformer Complete. Note : (i) In case of replacement of LV / HV bushing / spindles / tap changer etc, will be measured and paid for separately under relevant items (ii) Transformer oil (if required) for topping will measured and paid for separately under relevant item (iii) SM Nos of the transformers likely to be repaired shall be all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Repairs / reconditioning of LV leg coil copper for transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA to be done only in case where only insulation is damaged and conductor strip is intact i.e. not deformed. This work involve all turns of leg coil to be reconditioned, removing complete insulation from conductor strip, cleaning of conductor, wrapping of conductor with fresh DPC insulation and remaking of LV leg coils with reconditioned strip for use in transformer under repairs complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LV leg strip of copper conductor for transformer of capacity up to 400 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of strip assembly to match with the existing original winding coils, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HV leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of capacity up to 400 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly to match with the existing original winding coils, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT bushing, 12000 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 50 to 400 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LT bushing, 1100 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 250 to 400 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LT bushing, 1100 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 63 to 200 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT brass stud, 11000 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 50 to 400 KVA capacity of any make complete with one chuck nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal complete (as per sample) all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LT brass stud, 1100 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 250 to 400 KVA capacity of any make complete with one chuck nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal complete (as per sample) all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LT brass stud, 1100 volts, 50 Hz suitable for transformer 11/0.433 KV, 63 to 200 KVA capacity of any make complete with one chuck nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal complete (as per sample) all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Prestreesed concrete pole 11 Mtr long 152x152 mm at top and 152x260 mm at bottom class-9 errecting in truely vertical position complete all as specified. Note :(Excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent item of this BOQ).

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of poles including necessary form work for rough finished surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping to poles including necessary form works for rough finished surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling/Toping up new transformer oil low viscosity approved make as per IS 355 of 1992 and min di-electric strength 40 KV all as specified and directed Make Power/savita or any other approved make Note : (i) Test certificate from manufacturer of oil shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Supply shall be given in sealed containers and empty containers shall be Govt Property.

Supply and fixing in replacement of breather assembly of transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Painting to the transformer of any capacity 50 KVA to 160 KVA complete with synthetic enamel paint as existing earlier by spray painting including filling cavities with filler one coat after cleaning all dust etc and marking SM/MES No on the transformer at both site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Ser item No 16 her-in-before but 200 KVA to 400 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of Gasket sets for transformer tank 50 KVA to 400 KVA capacity with nuts, bolts etc complete all as directed.

Material and labour for Painting of 4 pole structures comprising of cross arms, supporting angle iron, clamps, nuts & bolts complete with aluminium paint of 1st quality on scraping old painted surface and Painting with one coat of sythetic enemal paint upto 1.5 metre above the ground level with black and yellow colour alternatively 30 cm interval from coping of the pole all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Painting of 2 pole structures comprising of cross arms, supporting angle iron, clamps, nuts & bolts complete with aluminium paint of 1st quality on scraping old painted surface Painting with one coat of sythetic enemal paint upto 1.5 metre above the ground level with black and yellow colour alternatively 30 cm interval from coping of the pole all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in any type soil n. exc. 1.5 Mtr in width and not exceeding1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cable/ poles complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type soil n. exc. 1.5 Mtr in width and exc. 1.5 Mtr but not exc. 3.00 Mtr in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cable/ poles complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposting where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returing filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as required complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for dry fine sand cushioning to under ground cables 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying, stretching and testing the cable all as direted.

Material and labour for sub class 'B' bricks well burnt of size laid dry flat for protection of cable complete all as spd and directed.

Supply, laying & testing cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor 6.35 KV (UE)/11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as direcetd.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass male contact suitable for Gang Operated Devices, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass female contact suitable for Gang Operated Devices, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of copper wire mesh suitable for Gang Operated Devices, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting, trimming of hanging/ extended braches of trees upto a distance 3 meter from the overhead HT/LT line and making the line clear upto the entire length of the feeder including removal and disposal of the cut tree branches 50 meters away from the site complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Rates shall inclusive of T&P, hydraulic ladder, equipment such as motorised diesel operated hacksaw etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. One span comprises of 3 to 5 conductors of any distance between one pole to adjacent pole including trimming of all tree branches in vicinty & around poles /conductor & will be measured as one span. 2. Necessary prior permission shall be obtained from concerned Engineer-incharge before carrying out the work. 3. All safety measures & insurance to the staff undertaking the Job shall be the Contractor's responsibility.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thickness not less than 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level ) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32X6mm by means of nuts bolts,washers,check nuts of GI steel all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR -2009 Part II, all as specified and indicated complete and including charcoal dust,salt etc and GI protection pipe medium grade 40mm and GI watering pipe 20mm light grade with funnel and wire mesh ,40mm thick pre-cast RCC N-15 (nominal mix) cover reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 kg /sqm with suitable handle of 6mm dia MS bar and angle iron 40x40x3mm frame for cover ,PCC M-15 (nominal Mix) pit,excavation and earth work in any type of soil and connected all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode , 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level)with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron wire 4mm dia as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers of GI up to test point , GI tubing 15mm bore medium grade protection pipe , GI watering pipe 20mm bore light grade with funnel and wire mesh , charcoal , and salt precast PCC 1:2:4 (Nominal mix ) cover with suitable steel handle , and angle iron 40x40x3mm frame for pit cover , PCC 1:2:4 pit including earth work in any type of soil , removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50mtr and connecting , testing on completion all as shown on electric plate No 03 of SSR -2009 Part II complete all as directed.

Material and labour for 80mm bore GI pipe Light grade in replacement for protection of HT cable fixed to walls/ poles/road crossing including suitable size clamps etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for spreading of graded course aggregate 40mm nominal size (thickness min 25 cm) to be spread over sand 10 cm thick including surface excavation and removal of complete vegetation and leveling and brick work using old size class B complete all as directed.

Dismentling and taking down transformer any capacity from two pole/four pole structure after taking proper shut down from main power house and refixing on same and other platform incl elcetric connection and testing on load complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replcement of structural steel work conforming to grade Fe-410S as in cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections, including , nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat of zink chrome primer and two coats of aluminium paint for 11KV insulation complete all as specified and directed.
