REPAIR TO VARIOUS FLOORING TILING AND RELATED WORKS AT ZONE II AND III AT LANSDOWNE

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises from MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles of any design and pattern, 300x450x 7 to 8mm thick, as in dado etc including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:3), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white of coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles. Tiles shall be confirming to IS-15622:2017, Group B III with average water absorption between 10% to 15%. Length, width and straightness of sides + 0.20% (Max deviation). Thickness + 4.0% (Max deviation). Straightness of sides and Rectangularity +0.15% (Max Deviation). surface flatness + 0.22% (Max deviation). Breaking strength 500 N (Minimum) and minimum 95% tiles shall be free from visible defects complete all as specified and directed. Note: Shade of the tiles including Colour, design and pattern shall be got approved by AGE(I)

M&L for non skid, joint free, coloured ceramic tiles 7-8mm thick (Square/Rectunglar), as in floor etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the coloured tiles laid with and including over 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4), area of each tiles shall be of following complete all as specified and directed :-

Area of each tile exc 0.11 Sqm but not exc 0.18 Sqm.

M&L for coloured vitrified tiles of any design and pattern, double charged, 9 to10 mm thick, as in floor etc incl 15 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles. Tiles shall be confirming to IS-15622:2017, Group B1b with average water absorption less than 0.05%. Length, width and straightness of sides + 0.10% (Max deviation). Thickness + 4.0% (Max deviation). Centre & Edge curvature and warpage + 0.20% (Max Deviation). Breaking strength 1200 N (Minimum) and minimum 95% tiles shall be free from visible defects and area of each is as following complete all as specified and directed :- Note: Shade of the tiles including Colour, design and pattern shall be got approved by GE/ AGE(I).

Area of each tile not exc 0.36 sqm.

Description same all as per item No. 667 but in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillar etc with and includind over 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:3) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 18-20mm thick granite stone slab (of any type) work (table rubbed and mirror finish polished) with and including necessay notching, chamfering the edges in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platforms and like bedded over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mirror polished machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and mirror finish polishing over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed Note:- The size of kota stone slab not less than 550mmx550mm (cut size except the location where balanced.)

Description same all as per item No 166 above but, as in skirting/ dado (10-12mm thick Kota stone) over and including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rubbing and mirror polishing to old kota stone flooring to give high gloss finish complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel water tubing (GI Pipe) and connections of following bore complete all as specified and as directed :-

M&L for cutting chases in brick wall, pinning in and making good in cement mortar (1:3) to match with existing surface for following girth complete all as specified and as directed :-

S&F galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe), heavy grade with all fittings (ISI Marked) and fixed to wall, floor and ceiling or laid in trenches of following bore complete all as specified and as directed :- Note :- 80mm and 100mm bore pipe will be jointed by welding as directed at site

S&F in repair 15 mm bore bib taps, cast copper alloy with crutch handle, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 15mm bore stop angle valve, cast copper alloy, fancy type chromium plated with long shank and cup (concealed type), screwed down, high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Chromium plated fitting shall be brought in store yard first as approved by GE/AGE(I) and will be issued subsequently for fixing at site

S&F in repairs 15 mm bore pillar taps, cast copper alloy, with capstan heads, chromium plated , Fancy type screwed down for pipe,high pressure , with or without l'ettered ' 'HOT' or 'COLD' with long screwed shanks and fly-nuts , screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs vitreous china wash hand basin, white, flat back, size 550 x 400mm excluding taps, chain and plug and porcelain stopper but including cutting for and pinning in ends of with and including brackets, waste pipe & PTMT waste coupling of 32mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rate quoted under this item deemed included fixing of taps, plug and chain and connecting up to supply pipes, wastes or traps etc.

S&F in repair vitreous china squatting pan of “Orissa” pattern of size 580 mmx 440mm white with integral foot rest (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap and to flushing pipe, anti syphonage pipe etc and making good to floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall surfaces including glazed tiles wherever exists including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water and removing unseviceable materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in CM (1:6) surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces on wall and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper over alkali resistance for primming to distemper for smooth finish of wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper on old surfaces of walls complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in CM (1:4) surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machine with and including application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper complete all as specied and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) Before commencing the work, contractor will got the written approval from GE/ AGE (I) for the make and colour / shade (tint). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.
