Aggregate Impact Testing Machine(1) Los Angels Abrasion Testing Machine as per IS 2386(part IV) Used for testing crushed rock,crushed slag,crushed and uncrushed gravel for resistance to abrasion. Specifications: The machine consists of a hollow cylinder mounted horizontally on a steady frame on ball bearings. There is an opening which can be closed with a dust tight cover to facilitate charging and discharging the drum with the material under test.A detachable shelf which extends through out the possible length of drum which catches the abrasive charges and does not allow it to fallon the cover.The drum is rotated by an electric motor through heavy reduction gear at speed of 30-33rpm.A revolution counter is fitted to the frame.A tray is to be supplied for collection of materials at the end of test.Abrasive charges consisting of a set of 12 hardened steel balls approximately 40mm dia and IS sieve size 63,50,40,31.5,25,20,16,12.5,10,6.3mm.

2. Aggregate Impact Testing Machine:-Aggregate impact testing machine all accessories as per IS 2386 part IV. A cylindrical metal measure of 75mm dia and 50mm depth,a tamping rod 10mm circular cross section and 230mm length rounded at one end and automatic blow counter,IS sieve of impact testing machine size 12.5mm,10mm,2.36mm.

Deflection Beam Testing Apparatus: The bench mounted apparatus steel base with support at the ends. The supports can be fitted with knife edge or clamp plates.A steel beam and two load hangers with weights are to be supplied and two dial gauge for measuring beam deflection and slope.
