Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. (v) 15 cm. av. Diameter Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end.
Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. V) 15 cm. av. Diameter. Note: 1) Payment to be made on the length driven into the ground. Diameter to be measured at 1.5m. from the thicker end.
Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less than 15 cm. (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.
Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incidental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).
Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or aggregates (stone/brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags, (tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ), and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials).
Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.
Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (iii) Without pumping out water but including shoring as required.
Earth work in excavation in the canals/drainage channels/borrow pits/ River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.. (a)Ordinary soil / local soil /soil mixed with moorum or kankar /silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.
Making filter with well graded 40mm down ballast sand laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, sides lopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earth work up to30cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden mallet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge(measurements will be on finished work/ in stack after deducting necessary void. (a) Jhama ballast.
Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm/ sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, cross drain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. (a) Where staging is required.
Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open foundation with or without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. (B) RCC Grade M20. I) Using concrete mixer.
Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The rate provided is exclusive of cost of steel materials. Construction wing should add cost & carriage of 1.05 MT (considering 5% wastage) of steel materials to arrive at the final consolidated item rate. ) (SAIL / TATA / RINL).
Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Sub structure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. (A) PCC Grade M20. (i) Height upto 5 m.
Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specifications, in nominal mix proportion I: 1.5 :3 (corresponding to M20 Grade) with well graded 20mm down stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the surface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and lying the blocks or lining units at worksite in position over sand cushion I filter layer, with cold (paper) joints between the adjacent units, having gap varying from O to 5mm as tolerance, with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. (The rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SoR of PW (Roads) to derive the consolidated rate. Consumption chart of the SoR may be used for assessing the quantity of coarse aggregates per cum of concrete).Stone aggregates of Pakur or Raj mahal or broken stone of North Bengal varieties. Note: Provisions of the latest Departmental Manual for Lining in Irrigation Canals are to be followed, wherever applicable.
Taking out Jhaw/Eucalyptus piles from river bed or from elsewhere including carrying, stacking materials in the nearest stack yard. (a) Up to 17.5 cm. Diameter.
Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.
Removing earth/sand filled polybags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.
Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.
Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.
Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or concrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor: b) Two Coats. .
Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat) a) Normal Acrylic Emulsion.
Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow or seepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically ascertained as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
