COMPREHENSIVE REPAIR/MAINT OF CHEMICAL DOZING PLANTS, CLEANING OF OHT/UG SUMP AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT MIL STN JAMNAGAR UNDER GE (A) JAMNAGAR.

Taking down of existing double reduction gear box with impeller/paddie fan, shaft assemebly complete coupled with 3 phase 415 V Electric induction motor up to 1HP mountain on common MS base frame/structure and deposited to MES yard of GE (Army) Jamnagar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

Taking down of existing triple reduction gear box with impeller/paddie fan, shaft assemebly complete coupled with 3 phase 415 V Electric induction motor 3 HP mountain on common MS base frame/structure and deposited to MES yard of GE (Army) Jamnagar complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and overhauling of existing alum mixer/mixing chamber, including complete cleaning and removal of sludge, deposited alum, loose concrete, damaged plaster and unwanted materials from the chamber and surrounding area; cleaning and preparation of internal surfaces; carrying out necessary PCC repair to damaged portions; repairing cracks, honeycombed and damaged concrete surfaces with suitable cement mortar/repair mortar; providing cement plaster to internal surfaces wherever required; Providing suitable waste-water outlet arrangement for draining the accumulated/waste water from the chamber/drain, including making necessary opening in the existing wall, providing suitable size GI/UPVC pipe outlet with heavy-duty tap/valve, socket, bend, coupling and other required fittings, properly sealed and grouted in the wall, including necessary civil work, testing and making good the surrounding surface, complete. All works shall include labour, materials, tools and tackles, scaffolding, transportation, debris removal, curing and finishing, complete in all respects as required for satisfactory operation of the alum mixing system. complete cleaning and making the chamber fit for operation.

M & L for Cleaning and plaster repair of two side drainage channels, each approximately 10.00 m long × 0.05 m wide, including removal of sludge, silt and deposited material, surface preparation, PCC/repair wherever required, cement plaster to sides and bottom, proper slope towards outlet, curing and complete cleaning.

M & L for Systematically inspecting, disassembling and replacing worn internal gear, bearing, and seals of Double Reduction Gear Box, having two-stage reduction ratios of 30:1 and 25:1, giving an overall reduction ratio of 750:1, complete with heavy-duty cast iron/steel housing, hardened alloy steel gears, precision machined shafts, bearings, oil seals, lubrication arrangement, inspection cover and all necessary accessories, coupled with 1 HP, 3-phase induction motor, suitable for 415 V, 50 Hz AC supply, complete with flexible coupling, coupling guard, MS base frame, foundation bolts, alignment, lubrication oil and all necessary accessories, including installation, testing and commissioning, complete as required and directed

M & L fo Systematically inspecting, disassembling and replacing worn internal gear, bearing, and seals of Triple Reduction Gear Box, comprising three-stage reduction arrangement with individual reduction ratios of 60:1, 50:1 and 15:1, giving an overall/total reduction ratio of approximately 45,000:1, complete with suitable heavy-duty cast iron/steel housing, hardened alloy steel gears, shafts, bearings, oil seals, lubrication arrangement, inspection cover and all necessary accessories, coupled directly with 2 HP electric indicator motor, suitable for 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz supply, complete with flexible coupling, base frame, foundation bolts, alignment, lubrication oil and all accessories, as required and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Supply, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing of MS ERW flanged pipe heavy grade (ISI marked) of 100 mm bore as in Network for Filter water & back wash air grid piping perforated type (3mm dia drilled hole in every 100mm in zig zag pattern) for rapid filter tank laterals by making necessary holes as directed and header connecting filter beds and fitted with existing pipes including all required modification for connection by required MS/CI/DI fittings with & including epoxy painting of external surfaces fitted at filter bed as per standard design & specifications including taking up or down existing MS pipe of 100mm bore of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cleaning of area around filter plant including removal of bushes, grass, weeds, rubbish, loose earth, debris and other unwanted materials; uprooting of vegetation, collection and disposal of waste to approved dumping place; dressing, spreading and leveling of existing earth/soil including filling of minor depressions, cutting of high spots, ramming/compaction and making the area even and suitable for proper drainage, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Providing and laying factory-made cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of approved quality, 80 mm thick, of approved colour, shape and pattern, over prepared sub-grade, including dressing and leveling of ground, providing and compacting granular/sub-base as required, laying and compacting 40–50 mm thick coarse sand bedding, laying paver blocks to required line, level and slope, filling joints with clean fine sand, mechanical compaction with plate vibrator, cutting of blocks at edges and all incidental works, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
